Roach Motel This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed at, and it will never happen again. Stayed at many Sonesta before and they were great so when I was offered this one and I saw the name Sonesta I jump on it. Horrible location the entrance road to the hotel had two big potholes so you better be careful driving at night now back to the hotel the elevator button looked like it was kicked in the wall at lease the top button work. the inside of the elevator was nasty like someone throw up in it needed to be power wash. Then when you get in your room inside the toilet you see your first welcome guest a little roach in the toilet swimming in the water then another roach in the tub just having a vacation, I took pictures, so they know I see them. Then in the bedroom another bigger roach on the table with the table lap looking at you like what are you doing here. I left the light on all night but every time you used the rest a roach will come out to say hello. They need to do something about the infestations. This place should not be call Sonesta it's a bad look for that chain. If I can give zero grade I will.

Waste of Money Sonesta Essential (Formerly Comfort Suites) is by far the worse hotel I’ve stayed in. When I book it was booked as Comfort Suites but when I arrived it said Sonesta Essentials. While checking in I was told that the elevator was down and I would be on the third floor. Because I have a hip problem I asked if there was a room on the first floor and the answer was no. Ok, I let that go but when I get to the room there is one wash cloth, one towel, and one hand towel. I booked for 2 adults so I went downstairs and asked for more towels and washcloths. I was told that the room already had what was allowed. So we are supposed to share a wash cloth and towel? I was so confused like make that make sense. To remedy that issue I went to Walmart and purchased towels and washcloths. The room was big and pretty clean, but anyone that knows me knows I come with cleaning supplies to make sure its clean to my standards. I was getting dressed to go out to dinner and looked all over for the ironing board that is suppose to be with the iron. Nope, no ironing board anywhere to be found so I did what I use to do in college and used one of the towels I purchased and ironed on the desk. Day two comes around and just to see what the answer would be I asked if I could get towels and washcloths for my room. I was told I was not on the list for today. What??? You mean to tell me if I did not purchase my own towels and washcloths I would have been stuck using the dirty ones from the day before, that is just disgusting. When I checked out I did inform them to not charge me for additional towels because those extra ones were the ones that I purchased since they were rationing them out like there was a shortage. I was very disappointed and will not be staying there in the future. The quality has gone done to about a 1 if I can give it that.

It was the worst hotel I ever stay in. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The towels and bed sheets had holes and stains. I had to go and buy some towels, and thank God I brought my own blanket. The chair in the room was filthy and full of stains. The carpet was dirty and full of stains. Customer service was deplorable, they had young people working at the front desk, and they never no anything also the elevator was not working which made it worse for our entire stay we had to go up and down the dirty stairs. Please do not stay in this hotel. Not worth a penny.

Double charged Charged me double security deposit and it's been 16 days and still no refund or even communication with location via phone or email. Don't bother calling them, their phone line isn't working and they don't have voice mail. Update 7/31: Location emailed me (since they still don't answer their phones) and stated they didn't find the second charge. Now it looks like I will dispute the charge. Customer service sucks.

Real Review - Place is a Dump Formerly a Comfort Inn (Choice Hotels), but Sonesta bought it and painted the outside. Other pictures you may see are either drawings or taken 15 years ago. Forced to stay here when Holiday Inn Express overbooked (same management). This location is a flea bag. Parking lot is flooded with dirty water, no run-off. Rooms are dirty and the hallways stink, smells like pot. Don't count on a "hot" breakfast. I question some of the "guests", appeared to be short term if you read me correctly. Their "coordinator" was waiting on them outside I'm sure to the next locale. To top it off, the hotel posts the deposit to your CC which is returned in 5-7 business days.
