A room is a room Average. room was clean all but one day when it was not touched by housekeeping. water for shower not very hot. restaurant with good selection but SLOW service consistently. breakfast buffet available for $18.95. Parking at garage for a price and a tight fit. odors in hallways abound..perhaps musty? swimming pool outdoors available. hotel needs some maintenance but then a room is a room.

Would stay here again. The overall stay was good. My complaints are minor, but nonetheless mattered to me on my stay. TV remote. It had a lot of functions, but none were available. Mainly changed the channel/volume and on/off. Other places I’ve stayed I’ve been able to cast from other devices. Their TV’s didn’t have that capability. The other complaint is the parking garage. Turning into the parking garage is very tight and as a result you have to open the car door to get your ticket. During my stay the elevator was out of service and had to resort to the stairwell. The odor in the stairwell was beyond foul. I felt like I was walking through a port-a-potty. Found out I could hold my breathe for 4 flights of stairs though!! Other than that, personnel and rooms were good.

Missing a ton of hotel essentials but charging full price First off, parking is an added $15 per day. Only one out of 4 elevators was working in the hotel and the elevator for the parking garage was also not working. Once we finally got to the room from waiting in line to use the one elevator we realized the room has no safe and no fridge. When my wife called to see about getting a fridge she was told “we’ll see what we can do but no promises.” No ice machines on our floor or the 2 below us. There are places where the ice machines are supposed to be but they are missing. I gave up after walking and checking three floors for Ice. No free breakfast like most hotels I’ve been to offer. The rooms were a nice size and clean but kind of hard to overlook all the missing essentials.

Average stay with a few minor problems My recent stay at this hotel warrants only an average rating. Check-in was efficient and professional. The hotel has a very good location halfway between Downtown Houston and the Galleria area with its numerous shops and virtually unlimited dining options. Although located directly on the main thoroughfare Southwest Freeway (US59/I-69), noise was not noticeable in my 6th floor room and the bed was quite comfortable. Internet also performed well with acceptable speeds. On the first morning, the shower was lukewarm at best. The staff promptly responded to my complaint, and the building engineer advised he had increased the temperature, whereby within minutes of his representation, the water was indeed very hot. However, the next morning the same problem returned. Hot water appears to only be available upon request at this hotel. I left my room for the day at 11AM and returned at 5PM, yet it had not been cleaned, and housekeeping was reportedly gone for the day, but I was provided with ample fresh towels. The gym is basic and should be adequate for most workouts, as it was well maintained with treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikes, and dumbbells up to 50lbs., but the drinking water machine was non-functional and I was advised by an employee that water was no longer provided in the gym, although at least towels were provided. My card access key failed at least once a day during my requiring a trip to the Front Desk, but this is admittedly not unique to those hotels who use this system. On the positive side, the buffet breakfast was above average and there was an omelet bar for custom orders. There were no major problems and the room rate of $120.00 was reasonable, but in light of its numerous minor problems, average is a fair rating.

Crowne Plaza Med Ctr Hotel The room was quite large and spacious but there was no safe, no fridge, no hairdryer and no Iron. The latter two were requested twice. The bistro in the hotel was not very good for dinner, but breakfast was ok. There seemed to be only one person working in the main dining room, Things on the menu were not available and when an order was placed we waited for ages. We eventually gave up and left. There didn't seem to be any other eating places close by to walk to.
