Outstanding experience and staff Amazing experience from the day we arrived to our Convention until we left today. Great breakfast with a professional staff especially Joel. Joel took the time to learn my name out and it was like catching up with a family friend everyday! Embassy Suites Houston will be the only place I stay when I travel again.

Amazing stay at the Embassy Suites Downtown Houston This was my first stay at an Embassy Suites and I was really happy in choosing this Hilton property. From the lobby to the rooms all of the facilities were clean and impressively well maintained. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The breakfast buffet was 100/10. Delicious and hot food options with fresh ingredients. The evening happy hour social was a nice end to the day. The cocktails were great. The pool and hot tub was a nice way to relax and socialize. The pool area was clean as well. The laundry room was easy to use to go back home with a suitcase of clean clothes. Joel the Hilton Grand Vacations rep onsite was very knowledgeable and shared information with us regarding the perks of Hilton membership. Engaging with Joel made the trip very personalized. The onsite hotel restaurant the Hearsay the decor was simple and elegant with a menu that had something for everyone. The bread pudding was AMAZING!!!! I give that 1000/10. At the Hearsay Restaurant, Jonathan B our server made the meal even more enjoyable with great service and recommendations. Overall a great stay, I will return. I am sold on the Embassy Suites as a brand to look at for future stays.

Great Stay We had a great room featuring a King bed and foldout sofa. The hotel is walking distance to Minute Maid Park and several excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We arrived shortly after lunch and were able to check in early before walking to the Astros Game. The valet parking was quick and easy.

Staff needs better training I checked in on my phone before arriving. We got to the hotel. Valet was awesome all around, but that was some of the only great service we had. We got to the room and noticed colored pencils on our floor meaning it wasn't fully ready. I want to say about an hour or so after checking in, housekeeping walked in our room. It shocked me but I didn't say anything as I thought it would be the only incident. The hotel was very hot in some areas. There are no vending machines anywhere even though signs say there are on every floor. My key stopped working a couple hours into our stay. Lady at the front desk was nice. We went for the free drinks and the team was great there as well. Walls are dirty though. When we went for breakfast it was like the cooks wanted to be anywhere but there. The ladies cleaning also made a very inappropriate remark towards my family in Spanish. We are multi cultural and understand the language perfectly being from Mexico. They had been watching us for a while and when we got up they said "They're finally leaving". There were more than enough empty tables and we were not making a mess or scene, yet I could have with their out of line remarks. The milk was all expired as well(something I feel should be checked). I alerted the lady at the front desk of the dining experience and she didn't seem to care one bit. Maybe it is normal for them, I don't know. I paid a lot of money to sleep in that hotel to be treated like trash. The beds and pillows are very hard too, but I could have dealt with that had my family been treated with respect. I don't even know why they were watching us or worried about our table. If it were reserved they could have asked us to move from the start. We didn't stay a long time even. I won't be staying at this location ever again, no matter how close it is to the Toyota Center. It is sad because some of the workers were great, but then you have those that I honestly feel were racially profiling us. Only reason for the star is the location is great. Standing out on the third floor was beautiful. Not beautiful enough to be treated so poorly, especially with how much it cost a night.

Exceptional Embassy Suites experience This is a great Embassy Suites, highly recommended if you are staying in downtown Houston for events at the convention center. Warm and friendly staff in a nice hotel. Quiet, comfortable room that worked great for my wife, son and me when we were in town for the First Tech Championships. One of the best Embassy breakfasts ever - great buffet line that was staffed (as opposed to everyone touching the food), great omelet station and plenty of staff. General manager was on the floor everyday and was very welcoming and responsive (asked for 1/2 and 1/2 for coffee and it appeared the next morning). Nice pool and workout room. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best Embassy Suites of the many I have stayed at over the last 25 years.
