Great Experience I stayed here once before and it wasn't the best back in June, but I decided to give them another try and wow they have made some improvements. The staff was friendlier and welcoming. I had no issues with our room, and they apologized about my previous stay. There's still a few kinks to be worked out but overall I enjoyed my stay. I love that they have a decent restaurant on site and wasn't overpriced.

Nightmare on JFK Boulevard!! My husband and I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn many times over the years in order to catch an early flight and have NEVER had a complaint. I will NEVER stay there again because of what transpired on 7-11-24. My husband was scheduled for surgery the next morning at 7:30 AM the next day at Baylor St Luke's Medical Center. We left Thursday afternoon in order for my husband to get a good nights rest and boy was that a mistake. My son got on line to find us a place to stay while we were enroute and due to the recent hurricane, hotels were scarce. He called me and said that he found Hilton Garden Inn, although not near the Medical Center, he booked us a room. When we arrived it was dusk and found it odd that there was not much lighting around the hotel, but there was lighting in the hallways(we soon realized that they were lit in order for us to find the room). Parking lot was packed so my husband stayed in the car while I walked in with my ID and credit card in hand and after stating my name, I told him I had a reservation. He then said, "Yes , I see your reservation" After handing him my card and he ran it, he said that there was no power and no water. I was astounded and asked what were we going to do if we needed the restroom. He promptly stated that he would bring us a bucket of water to flush the toilet and then handed me a bag with 4 bottles of water to drink!!! I then asked if there would be a rate reduction and he said that if it was up to him, he would reduce the price, but he had no control! I then asked him for the corporate number and he replied that each one was individually owned. People were going in and out of the hotel all night long to go and sit in their vehicles so that they could cool off!! How dangerous was that!! When I checked out after the miserable night, he wanted to know if I wanted a receipt. I told him ABSOLUTELY, this is GOUGING. The doctor had originally said that we would being staying overnight and I said at least we would be cool & have water & sanitary facilities( As it turned out the surgery was not as evasive as they thought it would be) After I mentioned what we went through to the doctor, he said to get online and write a review letting everyone know. A lady in the waiting room heard this & said to contact the BBBureau & I did!! the lady there took my name & number & said that they should not have been operating & she would turn it in to her supervisor. I still don't know what the outcome was on that. But I do hope that they were heavily fined! BTW the bill for the night was $ 319.51. Since I am a HIlton honors member #297140562, wasn't it great how we were treated! So I would like to know how this is going to be addressed. What an atrocity this ordeal turned out to be! Now...I got it off my chest!! GSR

Check-in If the airlines delayed or canceled your flights. This is the best option . I waited for almost 30 mins to check-in. Was the best customer service I’ve had at a hotel front desk in a very long time. These 2 impressive front desk agents handled a lobby full guests, no sweat “we got this”Thanks Tank & Page

Horrible The driver from the airport to the hotel was rude to passengers. We had been waiting for an extensive period of time, it was late, and we were all experiencing travel disruptions. The driver barked at us to hurry as we boarded the shuttle that was standing room only. When I got to the hotel, the desk agent could not find my reservation. (I am an airline retiree and had booked through ID-90 - as I usually do.) I provided him with my reservation confirmation email. The agent said he would figure it out and asked for my card for incidentals. The lobby was very busy and the desk agents were patient and efficient. Today, I realized that the agent actually billed me for the room rather than using my original reservation. So I have been billed twice for the same room. I called the hotel today to try and get assistance and the hotel agent (different person) said he only had one reservation with my card number. I explained it was two different cards that were used. He was very patronizing, wouldn't listen, talked over me, yelled at me, and then hung up. At the hotel, we didn't have a remote control. We requested one, but it was never delivered. The wi-fi didn't work because it indicated it couldn't find my name/room number. We purchased two microwave meals only to find no microwave in the room. I went back to the lobby to warm up the meals, but there were no utensils. My kids ate with their hands. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was by far the worst experience I have had in a very long time - perhaps ever.

A DUMP The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life!!! I cannot believe this is a Holiday Inn. The staff is the worst I have seen, they are rude and not helpful or care at all. My towels were taken early on in the day and I asked for them to be replenished many times and they said they did not have any. I did not get any towels in my room till 2am that night. We were there for a family reunion, about 400 people and A/C stopped working, we had seniors and children there, people were standing in the hallway to get air, which was non existent too. On Saturday night , our final night there, ( thank God) we had no water for about 2 hours. I asked for a manager at check out and there was none there. This hotel is being run by untrained front line people who have no idea what they are doing. You will see so many people waiting to get their room, just sitting in the lobby with their luggage. I would not trust your safety or security to this staff. It is sham and the worst hotel. find another place. We would have left if we did not have our family reunion here. Just want to save other people from this terrible experience. You will see a lot of other bad reviews regarding his hotel for this weekend.
