Finally, a stay back to pre-covid standards!!! I was so very pleasantly surprised. It was like staying at a Homewood before the pandemic. The staff was great. The room was clean and fully stocked. Everything was as promised (something I just have not seen at a Homewood since early 2020!). Breakfast was back to full hot selections, fresh cut fruit, all the bread options (muffins, bagels, danishes), prepared oatmeal, waffles. Business center had working computers and printer (and wifi worked). Staff all greeted guests with a smile and I felt very welcomed and appreciated. Hilton/Homewood need to send their other properties here to be reminded of how it should be done. As others have noted, this particular property is nicely off the road so quiet in addition to its remembering what hospitality used to (and I think should) look like. Incredibly convenient to the space center if you have work or fun planned there. thanks for a great stay. I'll be back.

Great place to stay Comfortable bed, quiet hotel off the street. Very close if you are visiting the space center. Average Hilton breakfast buffet with waffles, omelet, sausage, gravy, and cereal. Great reason to book is the full kitchen with the room. Helps to cook your own meals when you have special diet needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little older, but no issues with our room

Missed the Mark Well…I usually keep my hotel reviews with the hotel, but the warning signs were there from other revues. The shattered sign out front solidified that upon arrival. Reservation/Room-Picked this hotel because one room would accommodate the whole family for a few nights while on vacation. Upon arriving, the room chosen for us wasn’t fully refreshed last update and smelled like a casino. Non-smoking hotels (pretty much all these days) need to bite the bullet when guest break the rules and smoke in rooms. However, that wasn’t fresh smoke smell and the room should have been gutted. Accommodated with two rooms that didn’t connect separating the family and paying 30% than the other Hilton options in the area for two rooms. Dated-The hotel pictures appear to be after previous update which had to be several years ago. Wear and tear happens and is still clean, but it’s time for another one. Since the rooms have bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath area do not match. Staff-The hotel staff were great with housekeeping every day which is a change from the norm post-Covid. Made sure they acknowledged and spoke to every one. Cleanliness-Very clean and even dated items with wear and tear looked clean. Worn tub from scrubbing and roof leak remnants make it appear that it may not be clean. Only place that didn’t get cleaned well was all the tables in the main lobby area. Unless you need a full size fridge, plan on cooking, and want to stay Hilton, go with the others just down the street

Dated, breakfast terrible for vegans It’s just really dated - it wasn’t dirty but it didn’t feel clean because it was old (e.g. stain on bed cover, algae in shower). The room had a weird smell. The shower pressure wasn’t great and as a short girl I like an adjustable head but it was fixed. The shower soap was empty. The breakfast was no good for a vegan, the only options were the fruit salad which was 99% melon (yuck) and toast with spreads but there was no butter alternative and certainly no milk alternatives for the cereals or coffee. Good: free parking. Good wifi. Close to Space Centre. A few restaurants and coffee places nearby. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly enough. The pool area looked nice.

Horrible service. I expect better from Hilton. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Very rude staff. The first morning they came to clean my room while my ill mother was still laying down. She asked them to come back later. I stopped by the desk on our way out that morning to let them know we were leaving for the day. Came back after 6:00 and no housekeeping! Then they blamed it on me saying I turned them away twice. No one was in the room. Also big dogs roaming the dining area and no they were not service dogs. Also came in the back door at 11:00 pm without even having to use a key . Very unsafe. My biggest complaint is the no housekeeping that day and the fact they stood there and said they came twice and were turned away. Not to mention the 2 days it took them to replace a light bulb. Really after paying $1,400.00 I would at least expect housekeeping and the staff definitely need training in customer service.
