Warning, small double room is very small.... Stayed last weekend, had booked small double as planned to just sleep at hotel as attending events nearby. Small double room extremely small and the double bed is fixed against the wall and access obstructed from bottom of bed so anyone on the inside would need to physically clamber over the other person to get out of bed. The staff tried to be helpful and were friendly although limited by high occupancy rate so we ended up paying for an upgrade to a larger sea-view room. This room was very hot (as weather was good!) as no air conditioning and the window was restricted to opening to a few inches. There was just a small fan to keep us cool at night. The advertised toiletries consisted of shower gel and hand-soap dispenser so might want to take your own. Overall very poor value.

A wonderful find We booked this hotel to be close to the leshuttle and were all so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Right on the beach, with the most incredible views. A fab beach bar restaurant just next door & a 10 minute drive to leshuttle. The hotel itself was clean, fresh and the staff absolutely wonderful. Great bar available with huge selection of wines & other drinks & lovely seating areas both inside and out.
Great value for money too. Our room was spacious, very clean & had everything we needed. It was on 2 floors too so brilliant if you’re travelling with children & want separate spaces.
It took a while for us to park but when we did it was just outside the hotel & completely free so cannot complain!
This morning we walked 10 minutes down the seafront to a place called The Lazy Shack (as recommended by the hotel) for breakfast - absolutely superb _
Overall, absolutely superb experience. We’d definitely go back & can highly recommend.

None functional toilet and being lied to by hotel staff. My experience was awful
First I paid in full in advance and was asked on arrival for a security deposit of £30. I’ve never experienced this before.
My room was shoddy and my toilet did not flush. The shower head would fall off under water pressure constantly. Hitting me in the mouth on the first occasion and thereafter had to be held in place. This was reported at approximately 08.30. On my return to the hotel at approximately 18,00 I was told that all was fixed. That was a lie as nothing was done.
No working toilet and a defective shower.
Absolutely disgraceful to be lied to by the staff.
We will never return to the Stade hotel

A Tired Hotel. Very friendly staff,great location,very clean,comfortable beds.
The Hotel is very"tired". The place has been patched up rather than refurbished. There was a constant pungent smell from our bathroom. Could be so much more with some investment.

Will be back Very friendly hotel, cant do enough for you. Nice room and comfy bed. The room was over two floors, which is unusual.
Lifts to all floors.
The hotel doesn't do breakfast at the moment, but that wasn't a problem, as The Lazy Shack is 5 mins walk along seafront.
Ample parking on the road, we parked right outside.
Will definitely come back.
