Access to private beaches makes this a great deal He rooms on 2nd floor have big high ceiling, making the room feel bigger. Windows in front and back of room that you can open for fresh mountain air. Chairs out front for easy breakfast and winding down at the end of the day. Mini fridge held a lot of small items. Microwave in lounge. Very quiet in the room and on porch. Helpful staff, But the best part was having access to two private incline beaches. Yes you have to pay $13/person for the whole day-can go back later in the day if you get hand stamped. Also-parking is free at private beach, but get there before noon. Lots do fill up, although we found street parking one day. Walking to beach from lodge is a stretch but can be done. We did it one day. I liked Burnt Cedar Beach the best of the two. A bit smaller, swimming pool, great food amenities, sandy entrance to water-not rocks that hurt your feet. We got there at 9 am on a Friday and had the place to ourselves until at least 10, and it didn’t start getting busy til 11. Can rest paddleboards and kayaks for $35/hour. Trust me-you do not want to deal with parking at any public beach. We walked/shuttled to sand harbor one day and went back in late afternoon, but you won’t drive into that lot unless you are there by 7:30 am-and need $15/cash to pay for parking. Downside-bathroom door doesn’t lock, bathroom toilet flushes LOUDLY! But those are minor. You want to stay here! Trust me!!

Lack of graciousness overwhelms experience at this stylish property Lovely property until check-in. I reserved a room here for a local wedding and the service I received over the phone, up until check-in was beyond expectation. For example, after I had reserved the room over the phone, I received a phone call from the hotel's front desk confirming that all had gone well with the reservation service and that I was able to reserve easily. Was there anything else I wanted to know about their property? I was delighted that someone from the hotel would call me to confirm this all. Wow! In additional calls (early check-in, possible change of check-in date) the phone service was also exceptional. That ended upon check-in. When we arrived, I asked if we could have our room early, mentioning that I had called earlier that week to request early check-in, and that I had also sent a text message with that request. The person at the front desk responded in a defensive way, saying that there was no request for early check-in for our reservation and that "...she always checks the messages first thing in the morning to see about early check-ins..." implying that I had not made that request. All of a sudden, she stops and says, "Oh, now I see your request....". Then she told us that our room was not ready...It was a few minutes before 3 pm, their normal check-in time, and we had to get ready for the wedding, so I asked again if there was a room we could get into. Nope, not ready. Fortunately, a minute later, the head housekeeper came to the front desk and said that our room was ready. But we already felt disappointed, as the front desk person had been so defensive and ungracious. She ultimately offered a wimpy apology, but I think she could have done so much better by adding some grace to her interaction with us. I know we all have off days, but this is a very expensive property and we expected better. This is a pretty property. The rooms are very stylish and the amenities are nice. But this woman's attitude set the stage for our feelings about the hotel and we had a negative attitude the whole time we were there. We would never return.

Slept like a bear If you like clean updated rooms in a perfect location at a fair price and a cool staff (Aida, Omar, Angie, Pete, Andrew and Ty) who are available to help you, then stay at The Incline Lodge. If you don't like those things you should stay at the Hyatt.

Great people Great lodge Nice lodge, near summer activities, close to great places to eat and the lake. Best part was the management and workers at the lodge, super hard working and friendly. Summertime visit, but would be a even better spot for winter skiing, great little ski lodge

Beautiful Lake Tahoe We had a nice stay in Incline Village, Nevada. Omar was very helpful with reservations on the phone and was there when we checked in. Our room was very nice and updated, definitely a ski lodge vibe. Easy check out on your phone. Beautiful area, not everything was open yet so dining choices were limited. We had a great pizza from Jiffy's. Our only con - the toilet space is very narrow.
