Avoid! I rarely write reviews, but will take the time. I believe it a social responsibility to make each other aware. Stayed during Coachella, was part of a big group and honestly I would not pick this hotel if it were me. Rooms are dark, old, outdated, dirty, no shower gel, had to use hand soap. Was extremely expensive for what you get, totally not worth it when you can stay at all the beautiful hotels around. Woke with a commotion around 5 am, front desk personnel did not show up. Called again, I heard “you called 5 mins ago, why are you calling again? “ He hang up. During check out, 3 different numbers in my card in my bill and what I had to pay. When asked for clarification, the answer “you must have been very excited when you checked in, don’t you read fine print?” I am 50+, travelled all around the world. There is a first in everything it seams. My suggestion would be to avoid at any cost! SABENA-Such a bad experience never again…

Rescue this Place! A classic property with great history... but needs new ownership and management. A renovation is overdue! The rooms are large but not comfortable. Very old A/C units make lots of noise and can't keep up with cooling on hot days. Large TV's but good luck finding your favorite channel. No soft or feather pillows- only very hard foam. And staff isn't too professional. Quite evident nobody is in charge - just going through the daily motions to keep the ship afloat!

nice hotel in great location near Indian Wells Tennis garden, small opptys for improvement Positives: - Hotel is in a great location near Indian Wells Tennis garden - great for proximity to BNP Paribas Open. About a ~35m walk. - daytime front desk staff was super welcoming, nice - Reasonably priced relative to other hotels in the area - shuttle every 30m to the BNP paribas open from hotel - reasonably priced buffet breakfast at $15.99 - very pretty, warm and clean swimming pool with great view of golf course and palm trees - live entertainment in cocktail bar in the evenings Opptys for improvement - a few small things would really improve the experience - wifi was difficult to get on, was not able to use hotel wifi during the whole stay - no sanitizer (for cleaning equipment!) or towels in the fitness room - shower wall mounted dispenser drizzles shampoo/conditioner combo. wolud love to see them upgrade to a higher quality, separate shampoo and conditioner? - hotel shuttle does NOT pick up from the tennis garden at the same place as the bigger hotel shuttles. But this not stated on the shuttle info sign at the front desk. We called the front desk when we didn't see the Resort Hotel sign where the other shuttles were - and were told the shuttle picks up "where the other shuttles do". Waited longer, then called a few more times - finally figured out pick up is at "gate 10" which is a different place, where the ubers pick up. Walked there, waited, could not find the shuttle, and gave up. Front desk at the hotel was not helpful at all unfortunately. might stay again due to proximity - if so, would love to see some of these small improvements for this lovely hotel.

Horrible!! Horrible experience! Had great expectations since we had stayed the previously but sadly that was not the case this time. Scalp was very rude and unaccommodating. When we arrived, there was vomit in the halls near our room and we asked to have it cleaned. The guy at the front desk was very rude. He said he would clean it. It was not cleaned appropriately. Also the room that we were assigned to had a very loud fan in the unit that kept us awake all night. It sounded like a helicopter circulating above the room! The next day we requested a different room. The staff was again very rude. We were assigned to another room. There were no apologies for the inconvenience. They just stated that the fans sound that way in the room. When we were located to a new room, luckily we didn’t have that problem again. Breakfast buffet was included with the price of the stay, but it was horrible. There was some type of banana bread that tasted rancid. My son actually had stomach problems after ingesting it. We did complain to the staff in the dining room and just stated to them that they might want to replace the banana bread because it had a really funny taste. They said nothing and not even a sorry or any apology. Very unhappy with this place and what a shame because it is a beautiful hotel! I wrote a complaint note. I asked the front service desk to relate the message to the manager. He was very rude again and said if the manager decides to respond, then he will if not, there’s nothing that he can do. I then attempted to email the manager and received no response. Very unprofessional my husband even went back to the establishment a few months later to express our dissatisfaction with our experience and they were again very rude to him! Shame on a hotel for treating their guests that way! We are very kind people, but thought that our voices should be heard in this matter! Have never experienced this type of treatment in our life! We own two Airbnb’s and we never treat our customers that way! Our customers are number one priority, and we treat them with the utmost respect and concern when a situation arises! We always make our customers feel welcome and give them a memorable stay! We will never return to this hotel ever again! I am honestly complaining so that others don’t have to experience this treatment! It is completely uncalled for and ruins a vacation that was meant to be a memorable experience! I was actually there to attend a wedding for a close friend and this really spoiled our vacation!
