Refused to stay here We got this through Priceline at a great price. The place is so bad we left and lost our money. Priceline told us to work it out with the manager, but you cannot overcome the safety issues. This is a dump with questionable characters hanging around.

Not anything like the pictures We stayed at this hotel on a trip to visit friends. We found it online and it looked very nice. The pictures are very deceiving. When we arrived it looked a little old but it was big. We went inside and saw the nice indoor pool and thought this is going to be great. Were we ever wrong. The first room they gave us obviously had someone else in it recently. The bed was unmade and the pillows were thrown all over the room and the bathroom was gross. I went back down and they gave me another room. By this time we were running late to meet up with our friends. So we left our luggage in the room and headed to their home. We came back late that night to the room and it was very hot in the room. So we went back downstairs to ask for another room. They instead sent a maintenance man that opened the ceiling and water poured out of the ceiling. He said the a/c was froze and we would need to be sent to another room. By this time ii is after 11:00 and they put us as far away from the front desk as possible and also away from the one elevator working. This room was not great as well but I was so tired we just went to bed. We also talked to some of the other guests and they also said the online information about this hotel is not correct. I would never stay here again. Awful rooms, dirty, only one of the 4 elevators worked, staff was not friendly.

Stay Away - Take Advice The worst experience in my life at any hotel nationwide, stayed here for 2 nights for Indy 500 27-29 May 2017. Desk attendant told us we had rooms near lobby as was requested due to a medical / walking issue - only to find we were at the farthest point away in the hotel!! This caused a breathing problem for a member of our party. Then, we were moved to 2 rooms which had inoperable A/C systems and were over 90 degrees, making breathing issue even worse! After a third move, one room had a sink full of dirty water and hair - maintenance spent 2 hours disassembling plumbing with a snake router 3 feet back into wall - after sink was cleared, we discovered late that night that upon flushing toilet, sink overflowed with dirty water! This hurt our sleep the first night very much and our day at the 500, the whole fiasco. Second room - toilet overflowed when flushing! Maintenance did try to address second room issue but was not resolved. Maintenance is not to blame - they tried, but a worker told me the hotel was trashed from a plumbing standpoint, the whole hotel - and that the water park which has been closed for 2 years when it was a former Holiday Inn would never reopen - that customer were being lied to about this. Manger at desk was rude to us up on check-in, a lady - and when we called back on 30 May to confirm our final folios, and male manager on duty hung up on us! Management staff and desk reps should be replaced immediately! Recommend stay as far way as possible. Hot tub was room temp - but that was the least of our issues. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

"Ghost Ship Motel" One star is one too many! My brother rented (3) rooms for the Indy 500 weekend and could not have been more disappointed in the quality of the motel. The place appeared to be haunted upon our arrival due to most of the lights being off or dimmed, giving the entire place a weird vibe. I guess the lights were dimmed to hide the fact that the carpets had not been vacuumed in quite a while. The elevator on our side of the hotel was out of service, so we used the other elevator that was making so much noise it seemed as if it would also soon breakdown. We then used the luggage cart with wheels that each seemed to point in different directions to skid our luggage through the hallways to the opposite side. While the staff was friendly enough, they were either busy on their cell phones or talking with a friend that was hanging out with them whenever we approached the front desk. I got to interact with them a couple of extra times each day as our keys were deactivated upon our return to the rooms each afternoon. 2 of the 3 rooms were not made up each day, so we had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels and we had to dump our own garbage cans. 1 of the rooms had a barely functioning air conditioner. We were greeted at the entrance each time by large warning signs that said "Indiana Dept. of Revenue Warning - by conducting business, this motel is committing a Class A Misdemeanor". Only one ice machine worked, an opposite side hike from our room, of course. The breakfast was OK on Sat. & Sun., but on Monday it was stale donuts and rancid fruit. The good thing is that we did not see any roaches as I think that even they had left the premises. Staying at the motel really felt like we were the last ones on the Titanic before it went down.

Worst " Choice" hotel ever Let me start by saying that at one time this must have been a beautiful hotel. Our room was arranged by a member of our group months earlier. Took 2 hours to get rooms that had both working toilets and AC. 3 broken elevators, 1 barely working Good luck finding a functioning ice machine Large stain in tub Mold under soap dish and on shower curtain Broken tiles
