Hotel in downtown Indy Came to town to visit my son and decided to stay at this hotel. This hotel is centrally located to downtown, Lucas Oil Field and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The rooms are good size - they have a frig in the room, a Keurig Coffee Maker, and the beds are pretty comfortable. Currently going through some renovations. They are converting the old Train Barn at Union Station into this hotel. You can even book to stay in a few of the old train cars that have been converted into rooms. Looks pretty cool from the outside. They do have a restaurant on site although we did not try it. There is also an indoor pool and a small workout area.

Did not offer access to convention center Stayed here for a convention. Chose this hotel because it was connected to the convention center and I thought I would have indoor access. I even booked through my convention. But no indoor access. Unfortunately they had the trials going on and the one hallway from this hotel into the convention center was only for people with Olympic badges. They locked the skybridge door and did not allow us access to the convention center. I had to walk up and down the street each day with my bags and other items in the heat. I felt very uncomfortable walking up and down the streets by myself. There is also significant construction different across from the hotel. I chose this hotel specifically because it was connected to the center. However it was the only connected hotel that blocked our access due to the other event. All other hotels had indoor access to the convention - except for this one hotel. I wish I had chosen any of the other connected hotels. Also, the entire building shakes when trains come through. Be ready to for early morning (before 5 am) wake ups. I had some unplanned very early mornings. The staff was kind and the room was clean but it turned out to be very inconvenient for my conference. In the future, I will select a different hotel.

Great place to stay! We came to attend the TGC Women's Conference. It was great to have a covered walkway from the hotel to the conference. The front desk receptionist and the valet personnel always exceeded our expectation. We will definitely stay again for the next conference!

Good experience Very nice hotel with some unique structure. Close to Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Center. Plenty of food options nearby. Stayed in a room near the pool on the first floor. Noise was never an issue and the hotel seemed quiet overall. Snacks by the front desk were reasonably priced. I did the breakfast buffet at 123 which was excellent. My King room was extremely dark where I needed to turn on multiple lights just to see. The only natural light would be the hallway but of course anyone could see in. This was probably the most frustrating part. Would consider this hotel again.

Glad we chose Crowne Plaza! We were really happy with our choice of the Crowne Plaza, it was convenient to Con Ctr and all of the US Swim Trials activities, Lucas Oil Stadium, as well as many nearby restaurants. The staff were very friendly at check-in, happily stored our bags since we were early, and texted a couple of times to confirm the stay was going well. We were warned at check-in that we would hear the trains passing through from time to time and we definitely heard and felt them a few times, but they passed by pretty quickly and it really wasn't an issue. It somewhat added to the uniqueness of this train station turned hotel. We had included the breakfast buffet with our reservation and it had a decent amount of choices. We stayed two nights and our room was actually serviced during our stay, something that we don't see that often anymore. The only minor negatives with this hotel were that the beds were a bit creaky and the hotel charges $50 a night to park your car. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
