Decent hotel in good location Stayed here previously in 2016 and they have definitely upgraded. Nice hotel in a good location BUT it was hard to locate the entrance and I had several Uber drivers cancel on me because they did not want to navigate the one-way system to actually get to the hotel entrance. I traveled with my kids and elderly parents and it was not possible for my parents to walk down to road and the end of the block to meet the Uber. I have to say Indianapolis has some of the THE WORST Uber drivers. The hotel itself is decent. Rooms were clean. 2 elevators were not working and the hotel was at capacity so that meant long waits. No help with luggage and of course the luggage carts were all gone. We did take the service elevator on arrival and it wasn't too terrible. I always find it strange that when you book a room with two double beds, they only give you towels for two people. We had to call every day for additional towels. I ended up taking some from the cart as housekeeping was going by, who by the way did not speak any English. Snacks and free beverages in the evening was a nice touch. Breakfast was good too.

Unwelcome Guests The room was nice but I had several issues during my stay. When I was in my room taking a nap, another guest came and tried to come in my room but I had the top bolt on the door. When she couldn’t open the door she proceeded to bang on my door repeatedly until I opened the door. When I opened the door she said she received the same room and had a key to my room. I told her that had to be an error because I received this room hours ago. Apparently, hotel staff had my room marked as vacant so my room was given to another guest. Shortly after this incident, I heard a knock on my door while I was taking a shower. And before I could exit the shower, I heard my door open. I jumped out the shower and poked my head out the bathroom door and saw a hotel employee in my room. He then asked if I ordered food and I said yes and he put the food down next to the tv. I was naked and felt extremely uncomfortable that a man was in my room. And he stayed in my room way too long. Even after I said yes to the food he proceeded to stand there for a couple of seconds and apologized and finally left the room. I later found out this was the hotel manager that had entered my room. I left instructions for my door dash order to be left outside my room. I do not understand why the manager thought it was appropriate to enter my room. My food could have easily been left outside the door. Also, the next day when I returned to my room I found housekeeping had thrown my clothes on the ground. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay.

Great Potential- BUT The hotel boasts a great layout and ample space, which we appreciated. The extra vanity in the bedroom was a nice touch. However, our stay was marred by several issues. The hotel was fully booked, and with only two elevators working, the wait time was excessively long. Additionally, the walk to the elevators was inconvenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but the sheets were very worn and did not fit the bed properly. Despite requesting daily cleaning, we returned to our room after long meetings on two consecutive evenings to find it had not been cleaned. We had no clean towels, and the room had a musty smell. The front desk did not respond to online chats or answer the phone, necessitating trips from an upper floor to ask questions or request towels, which was particularly frustrating given the elevator situation. Overall, our stay was extremely unpleasant. Despite the hotel's wonderful location and great potential, these issues severely impacted our experience.

Great experience - highly recommended After another hotel let us down badly ( crowne plaza ) we were left stranded in town with nowhere to stay for the busiest week of the year in Indianapolis - despite being 11pm and our problems being nothing to do with them the night manager was fantastic - calling hotels and waking people up to try and help us . As it turned out we managed to get 3 rooms here through booking .com even though they were technically full ! The hotel was really nice with great rooms a helpful staff - again big thanks to the night manager as he was amazing ! Free breakfast was a really nice addition and had a large selection . King suites were very big and nicely decorated .

Front Desk Check out I stopped by the front desk to get a copy of my incidentals bill, to review charges I put on my room, from the restaurant and mini convenience store. The guy at the front desk Shahrukh started shouting at me that the room was paid through a third party so they did not have the hotel room charge in a tone like he was ready to argue with me about something I never asked for. I know the reason why the hotel did not have access to my hotel room charge paid through a third party since I worked as a Front Desk clerk and Night Auditor before. I only asked for my incidentals bill containing the restaurant food items and snacks I charged to my room, but I had to listen to his rant about the hotel stay charge, that I never asked for. A simple request was turning into something confrontational. For my last stay at the hotel Briana was able to get my incidental bill in less than a minute but this time it took way longer because of Shahrukh's ranting about something that once again I did not ask for. I guess if he's having a bad day all the guest he encounters will have one too. When I got back to my room I realized he checked me out 2 hours early without even asking me if I was ready to check out.
