Just skip it This hotel was NOT worth the money. Room was worn out and smelled musty. Our door to the suite had an enormous gap which meant light and sound could come through. We had to put the ironing board and cushions up against it to help block the noise. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom floor and wall was dirty. Motion sensor thermostat caused the ac to turn off in the middle of the night. Toilet was so low to the floor I felt like i was squatting to pee. Shower head was mounted so low only a person who was five feet tall would enjoy it. Matress on sofa bed was horrid. Sleeping on it was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard. Hotel was very noisy, children running up and down the hallways and stairwell. As an employee of an air line who as stayed in thousands of hotels I would never stay here again and would rethink staying with IHG at all. Not worth the $300 we paid. We were here for a family reunion not baseball or for the Olympic swimming trials. When we return to Indy we will not stay here.

Poor customer service and no breakfast We were in town shooting a commercial. My agent booked us, along with another talent, at this hotel. When I checked in around 4am on October 5th, I gave them my credit card for incidentals, which is typical. I specifically stated that the card was for incidentals only and that the room was already paid for. Yet, they charged me $150 for the room. I never authorized the transaction and was never given a receipt. Again, I did not book the room! When I saw this on my card, I called the hotel at 2:00pm yesterday and explained the situation. Instead of resolving the situation, the man at the front desk, Daniel I believe, hung up on me. When I called back he wouldn’t answer the phone and had a woman talk to me. So, I had to explain my situation again. No one admitted that they made a mistake or resolved the situation, simply stating that they didn’t have the agency’s card on file. Yet, The other Talent that the agency booked a room for had no issues; so, clearly it was an issue with the woman who checked me in. My experience with all three employees at the hotel was improper training and poor customer service. I had to call my agent to get this resolved, which may result in them not using the hotel in the future. Also… there is no complimentary breakfast or coffee at all? What is that?

Great breakfast buffet and staff Staff is outstanding!! All went out of their way to be extra helpful. Robert (I believe), at the breakfast buffet, was superb—very attentive and helpful; made our experience great! Also best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had! Front desk woman was also so helpful—made our check-in process very smooth. Beautiful courtyard area!

Some Good/Some Bad Let's start with the positives: Jason, the hotel manager, was efficient and effective in resolving an issue regarding room rate and extending our reservation. We were staying within a group block for a baseball team. This gentleman understands exceptional customer service. The included breakfast and servers were very good. Though the breakfast was the same everyday, it did offer several hot options: eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. The severs went above and beyond -- please be sure to tip them appropriately. Plenty of parking available around hotel and within 10 minutes of plenty of fun restaurants, though hotel itself is in a business park area. Now for the negatives: Rooms are in need of updating. Carpet was dingy and sticky in places. Most of our group wore flip flops around their rooms. Besides Jason (and one other lovely female front desk agent), most other hotel staff here were very subpar and not willing to work with guests. I have read other negative reviews regarding Damion, and I would have to agree (I believe he is the sales manager). He and other front desk staff were not helpful or accommodating in any regard. They probably should not be in the hospitality industry. So if you need hotel with good customer service either ask for Jason or avoid staying here.

beware they don't care The Hotel management here is inflexible and inhospitable. I understand POLICY and I also understand management who try to be human and find a way to solve problems. I prefer to stay with Hotels that care about people and guests and i'll continue to search for them But IHG has been entered on the list of avoid. I unfortunately had a last minute cancellation beyond my control and the management wouldn't even change the date of the reservation or find a way to offer a credit for the possibility of a future stay. As I intend to be back in a month it doesn't feel like a big ask and I am sure well within their power. Be careful how you book with them as they aren't run by people but by inflexible corporate policies. your just a dollar sign to this group.
