HORRIBLE!! STAY AWAY! Where do I begin? My shoes stuck to the carpet. The room smelled of cigarettes and mold. Part of the bathroom ceiling was missing. The floor was caving in and soft. The sink and tub weren't cleaned and still had hair in them. A previous guest's towel was in the bathroom. The motel towels were dingy yellow, not white. THE SMOKE DETECTOR WAS NOT ON THE WALL IN IT'S BASE. IT WASN'T IN THE ROOM AT ALL. The tv was from the 80s with only 4 channels. The wifi was non existent. They wouldn't refund our money so that we could go somewhere else. They put us in a bldg where long term people were staying and it was crowded when there were other bldgs that were open. So why not put us there? Or the in the rooms that were supposedly refurbished? There was drug dealing and prostitution going on next door to us. The pool had a tarp on it and looked like it hadn't been used in decades. The ice machine was small and the room it was in was hot and stinky. I found the morning employee dazed and asleep when I went to check out. He looked like he was on heavy drugs. Other reviews state that the staff is friendly. I found it completely the opposite. They treated me like I was a problem and they had better things to do than answer my questions. The Booking.com site states: "A breakfast is offered daily at the Indianapolis South Knights Inn and a free microwave is available in the lobby. Laundry facilities are also featured on site." NONE of that is available here. There's also no maid or cleaning service (regardless of the new rules for the coronavirus). The amenities listed on TripAdvisor are not available either.

Looked like a crime scene that was not cleaned! We were tired from a very trying day of travel with accidents, road construction and all and otherwise would not have stayed in the room. We kicked off our shoes and fell into bed. In the morning light we were horrified with what we found. There was some sort of "matter" spread on the wall in the bathroom that could have been blood for all we know but whatever it was it was not cleaned very well. The same sort of stuff was found on the wall beside the bed. Again, not much was done to clean it off. They had taken either a fan or a light out of the ceiling and replaced it with a "plate" but the ceiling still had the dirt and lint dust hanging all around the plate. The floor was filthy. We had no hot water no matter how long we let it run. We had to pay over $115 for this room and when I turned in the key and told about how bad it was, I was told "sorry about that" About the water they said that it was because we were the last room. Only had 2 pillows so asked for another 2 pillows and when he brought them they had no pillow cases on them. No effort was made to make this right monetarily and I certainly would not give another Knights Inn the chance to take our money.

Impeccable Luxury I am reading the other reviews and I think these people just expected too much. The rustic ambience and faint smell of cheap hooker perfume was intoxicating. The feral cat outside the door kept the other critters away and kept me company when I couldn’t get to sleep. The whirring, clacking noise from the AC Unit was sufficient to drowned out the gun shots and ambulance noise from the neighborhood nearby. I was a little disappointed that the shampoo was not herbal and the concierge recommended a steak house that wasn’t very good. But overall I feel like I spent money for a place to sleep.

Run away as fast as you can. I'd rather check into the local homeless shelter for the night. The manager (Tom) was walking around barefoot and smoking cigarettes constantly. Our first room had stains, peeling paint, smelled bad and blood stains on the sheets. We asked to switch to a different room, when we walked in it smelled equally bad and looked just as dingy. When I asked Tom for a refund he refused and walked away. When I asked to speak to the owner. Tom told me to "Go F*** myself". I had to travel 3 more hours to Evansville to find a decent hotel. As a combat veteran I've slept in some bad places, and I refused to stay here.

Room and Facility is filthy, no room service & no hot water This was ABSOLUTELY the worst place I have ever stayed in for any price and I've traveled a lot. The room was dirty and when I asked for room service which normally would have included fresh towels I was told I had to ask for it otherwise it wasn't part of the deal. So, I asked that the next day I have room service-never happened. No fresh towels until the front desk person brought them to my room later that evening. I complained of no hot water & then had to wait over 2 hours to have their so called maintenance man respond to my request. This happened 3 TIMES. I was never offered a different room to even take a shower! I tried to find another place to stay but because of a convention in town none was available. All I can say is that this place needs to be shut down as it is deplorable and they provide no service to their customers...if they charged you $20 per night you would be over paying.
