Sonesta Irvine John Wayne Airport

Wonderful place Kenny always takes care of me, he’s such wonderful human being and the hotel looks so much better in person than in photos. The pillows are nice and fluffy the room smells fresh and parking is a breeze. One of the best hotels to stay at around town.

Wonderful Hospitality!! Best Valet Service ever!! David and Reggie were awesome!! From the moment I arrived to when I left. Front desk and housekeeping staff are so friendly and helpful. Best stay I’ve had in a long time. Food was amazing, from the flavor to the portions. Staff service was attentive and friendly as well. Took care of me and I appreciate it.

Best property I have stayed at in years The truth about this Sonesta is that it's not your typical Sonesta. This is honestly a very high end hotel. One thing I want to point out is the property is within walking distance to numerous great restaurants, so I am not sure why it doesn't reflect that here. Outside of that, the restaurant at the hotel has great food. The bartenders and servers there are excellent and very enjoyable to speak to if you are dining by yourself. So I have dined in and out for my nine nights of staying at the property. As for the rooms, completely remodeled and beautiful. The floors do night have carpeting which is very important to me. The most important thing about the rooms though is the bed. I have a high end mattress at my home that I routinely brag about, but this mattress is more comfortable than mine. I have had some of the best sleep of my life in this bed. That should do it alone to hear that the bed is comfortable, the room is super clean and updated, on-site restaurant is great and also within walking distance to a variety of highly rated restaurants. Right? Now the real reason why I would recommend, or choose, this hotel over any other hotel in the area is the STAFF. I have never felt so welcomed at a hotel in my life. I travel a lot for both work and pleasure. Let first start by giving a shout out to Vanessa at the front desk. She could be one of the nicest, most helpful, humans I have ever met. She is just too sweet along with the rest of the front desk crew. Anything I have needed they have made sure I got it. The housekeeping crew was also incredible. I have a service animal with me so I kept my DND sign on most the time and the one time I asked her to just restock the towels and cleanup to floor while I walked my little guy Gucci, she literally did the entire room before I got back and it looked amazing, including little extras to make us feel special. I already raved about the service in the restaurant but again they are fabulous. I hope this helps anyone having doubt about whether or not to book a stay at this property. It's a no brainer and you can feel confident that you will be treated special your entire stay at the Sonesta.

Good stay, excellent meals After visiting Mission San Juan Capistrano, we decided to stay the night at Sonesta Irvine before returning home. The main draw was the hotel’s indoor pool. The king bed was comfortable, the safe was convenient for storing our valuables while at the pool, The restaurant in the hotel served delicious meals. My g’daughter said she wished she could come back here, just to eat. When I told the manager her comment, he replied, “We hear that a lot.”

Amazing hotel in a great location! The customer experience was beyond excellent! I traveled here for business and wa very impressed with the hotel staff and how friendly and helpful everyone was! Tonita assisted my coworkers and I with this trip Ann made it a seamless and very enjoyable trip. We will be staying here always when we are in town. Hotel is recently renovated and was perfect for our 5 day work trip! The location was also ideal as the Sonesta is 5 minutes from John Wayne Airport (SNA).
