If you want to not worry about anything stay here! I have stayed at this property atleast 20 times the past 6 months. I travel for work aNd am always excited when I get to come back to this area and stay at this Days Inn. The staff are amazing! They treat me very well even though I’m trans wich usually results in some form of discrimination at other hotels I’ve stayed with. That means a lot. They are constantly improving and upgrading the property. Rooms are always clean and cozy. Ac always works and if there was ever anything that wasn’t right or not what it should be it was remedied immediately no questions asked. I also travel with a service animal and never any issues there. The breakfast is amazing and I feel very safe here. If you need a room in this area stay here! You will not regret it I promise.

Poor sanitation can be corrected but a substantial management and marketing issue causes rot Our stay at Days Inn in Irving, Texas was marred by poor sanitation, misrepresentation of the facilities available, dangerous advice, and poor customer service. I booked this hotel as a transit night between flights from Dallas Fort Worth. I wanted a shuttle to clean hotel with a restaurant for dinner and breakfast in the hotel the next morning. If you have a transportation all of the problems may not apply, My spouse and I stayed in Room 251. 1. I was awoken in the morning by crinkling of plastic. When I got up and turned on the lights I saw a mouse run from the room to the bathroom. Then I noticed a hole in the wall by the plumbing. A piece of bread in a backpack was chewed and plastic wrapping of nuts had been gnawed into. 2.. The shuttle from the airport had only one working seat belt in the first row of three seats. We moved to the next row of seats. None of these had a working seatbelt. 3. Check-in at the hotel can only be done if you use a credit card by computer link. This was slow and there was a long line. Thus, the time from calling for the shuttle from airport to unpacking at the room took almost several hours. 4. There is no privacy at check and as the speakers are poor, your name and private information will be shouted aloud during your check in for everyone on the line to hear. 5. The human receptionist at the desk, who will refuse to you book you in if you use a credit/debit card, recommended dinner at "nearby Denny's". When I asked for further information the receptionist said it was "in" the Red Roof Inn about "0.3 miles away". As there were no sidewalks nearby I asked how to walk there. The receptionist motioned her arm non-specifically and said "yes" when I asked if I could walk on a sidewalk. When I went outside neither Denny's nor Red Roof Inn were within sight. The only sidewalk led in a direction opposite to any hotel and nothing was visible for over 0.5 mile. Perhaps it is "0.3 miles" as a bird flies, but not on foot and not on a paved walkway. 6. We were forced to use the take-out place near to the hotel. This place lacked a menu. The cashier said that there were two menu options. We took one He brought out the meal in which every piece of chicken had thick bones. He brought out the meal without cutlery or napkins. 7. The hotel website advertises "light breakfast". This is a granola bar, something that many modest hotels provide with the coffee in your room Any "breakfast" listed is a misrepresentation. 8. The next morning we hunted for the Denny's. On the sidewalk path, it was over 1.0 miles near to the Red Roof Inn but NOT in it. You do not see a sign for Denny's until you are about 100 yards from it and definitely not in view of the front of the Day's Inn. 9. After breakfast, on return to the hotel we found a shorter walk back to the hotel — but it was over uneven grassland pockmarked with large holes. This would be dangerous on which to walk at night. I state that having spent the prior 10 days hiking in Bend Bend National Park hiking about 5 hours per day walking in deserts and up mountains 2400 feet altitude gain. But I would not have wanted to walk the stretch of pockmarked grassland on the 0.4 mile walk to Denny's at night, which would almost guarantee an injury.

Racial tensions NO JOKE. Hope it’s worth it The front desk clerks are all incredibly disrespectful and most of them have absolutely no social skills or no understanding of the English language. They wouldn’t or couldn’t enforce the policy due to lack of training or knowledge. Dee the night time front desk clerk he had his dirty hair combed over his face in a ponytail, and wore a red sweatshirt, was hands down the worst. I have been staying at this hotel all week and this was the first time I had ever seen him. He refused to accommodate me for a mixup on reservation and as I was exiting he then asked me “if I already had another reservation for now?” It seemed suspicious to me because his tone was very off putting. It was as though he didn’t want me to be there. Like I had inconvenienced or offended him. It was highly unusual. So since no customer service was provided or enforced we were left with sleeping in our car till tomorrow afternoon when we can check in. Well my suspicions were confirmed when a police officer was called out by DEE THE FRONT DESK nighttime. They whole incident was a complete harassment. We were have targeted and racially harassed. Based upon his views of the world. I was treated as if I were drug dealer. The 2 cops were horrible liars, proceeded to try to find sum incriminating evidence on me, in this case, it’s legal flower sold in smoke shops that he was hoping would be illegal cannabis and that him coming won’t be a waste of time. But time was wasted even further cuz he then raided my sisters car but only was focused on the side of the car I was in. After his lame attempt to try to get me in jail, he then tried bate me and get me to speak out of context. He failed. And his partner “nice cop” was trying relate to us and pretend to have sum common courtesy. But he immediately wanted to express his concern about not being a racist and how they are here all the time. Never have I been so disrespected by days inn. Every front desk employee should be let go of their position

Very Clean Clean hotel , very reasonable price , location was great. Check in was a breeze , the quality of the bed and room overall was more than expected. It was really hot outside for the time I decided to travel , the cool breeze of the ac and the blacked out room curtains help me get the much needed rest on my trip
