Would think twice There is a bird sanctuary here, and you can smell it all over the property. It’s terrible. The pool is so cloudy you can’t see the bottom. The food is sub par, hardly any wine options and very little liquor options. The mini bar in the room only had a few options. The beds were comfortable.

Home away from home Mia Reef Isla Mujeres is an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was breathtaking. From the ocean view to the jacuzzi to the guy who bring snacks to snorkling, kayaking, and late night entertainment. We didn't have hot water one day and lost power another but the staff were so professional and accommodating. The staff made this trip one to remember. Numar, Victor, Isabel, Gerardo, the spa employees, cleanning ladies, the waiters, all greeted us with a smile daily. It felt like home. The food was really good my 5 year old and 12 year old always found something to eat and they are picky eaters. I will be returning soon I miss it already!

Don’t go Worn down hotel. Power outages every day we were there. The “villas” are covered in bird poop and smell. Plus the bird sanctuary on property and can’t sleep due to noise. Food terrible and only one restaurant. Pool is like a kiddie pool. Beach is beautiful and the staff was nice.

Go elsewhere I can’t believe how bad the resort was, and how many good reviews there are. This place simply sucks. The staff are fine, but everything else is just terrible. We were even disappointed with the beach, which was so small it could fit maybe 25 people. Cannot stress how bad it is, go elsewhere.

Awful Experience This resort was an absolute waste of money. I could’ve put a down payment on a car for what I spent. The food was terrible. My family was hungry the ENTIRE time, the resort was covered in bird poop, and there is ONE bar. It was impossible to get a drink!
