Our little Heaven in Mexico This place is heaven on earth for several Reasons. First must be the staff. All of them are top notch professionals and service oriented. Genuinely amazing people. Valencia and Jorge and Jonathan were Excellence Club concierge’s that were simply the best. Alejandro and Fernanda and Josue were the best pool/beach concierges. And Roberto, Heldy and Lucy were the best servers. Seriously, we enjoy our chats with these wonderful people as a great part of our total experience. Next is the food and drinks, always exceptionally good and never ending. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. All excellent. Finally the rooms and accommodations are all superior quality and the best we have been to in all of the Cancun area. My wife and I have been five times. Each time the experience is actually better than the last and it began fantastically. This place is a must see and must return. Trust me.

EPM we ❤️ you! Two years ago we celebrated our honeymoon at EPM. We decided to come back to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and we are so glad that we did. Our experience from beginning to end, needless to say we were sad to leave (again). After we sipped on our welcome drinks, we ran straight to the beach volleyball courts where we were greeted by Monica. We were surprised that she remembered us and she welcomed us with a big smile and hugs. The entire entertainment team is AMAZING: Monica, Naomi, Jesus, Charli, Yali, Andres, Memo and Fabian. Every activity they facilitated was engaging and inviting. They are all so friendly and patient to everyone who participates in scheduled activities. Also they are all super talented dancers, Aqua Fun was amazing! Our favorite activity was beach volleyball @ 11 am & 3pm, they are also very athletic. Multi-faceted entertainment team they won’t disappoint! In terms of night time entertainment our favorite night was the Mexican Night. It was a lovely experience with delicious food. They close down Agave on that night. We had a server, Celso, we don’t remember him but he remembered us. This place was packed and he magically showed up with our drinks we always had for dinner: Sprite and a Seltzer. He always came to check in on us and give us more water when necessary. We were so grateful to have him as our server for the evening. The shows were great, and there are a variety of different ones through a given week. After the shows there is usually a music event. Silent disco is always a hit. Food: We loved Agave! Food is delicious, very authentic Mexican food. We also enjoyed Spice and Basmati. We don’t eat Indian food but the food at Basmati is delicious. The servers at Basmati were so kind and helpful. They gave great food suggestions for us to try. Spice is an Asian restaurant. Servers are also very lovely, accommodating and attentive. It was our first time eating at The Grill. We enjoyed eating there. Just a tip: go there hungry if you are ordering steak, I found the portions to be big. The grill is popular so there is always a wait. The servers again are so kind! If you want a chill place to watch sports and eat wings go to the Sports Bar! We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality and overall experience. There are two old school arcade machines where you can play any game you can think of. My husband and I played Marvel vs Capcom while we waited for our food, he was very excited about this. The food highlight is Aroma…how can you go wrong with a dessert place open all day. My husband loved the pastries and sorbet selection, and I loved the Tres Leche Ice cream. Bars: We didn’t drink a lot but we did enjoy our midday margaritas and frozen drinks to help with the heat. We loved Sol during the day. Our servers Luis and Rubi were wonderful. Oscar and Carmen were lovely and attentive bartenders. Oscar knew me so well. He would look at the time and knew I would only drink water before 12 pm and then watermelon margaritas after noon. Cesar is just phenomenal at the Martini bar. He puts on a show and demonstrates superb bartending creativity. The servers/bartenders overall at EPM are amazing amazing amazing and we wish we remembered everyone’s name to shout them out. Housekeeping: Our room was always clean. Towels and other things were replenished when necessary. They were very tidy. They even wrapped up our cellphone and laptop cords…the little things. Turndown service…love it! It also gives them another chance to tidy up. While we know there’s a safe for our important items, but we honestly feel at home at EPM and are never worried about our belongings. Very appreciative of the housekeeping staff for their cleanliness and attentiveness. A good tip is to remember to treat people with respect. Yes you’re at an all-inclusive resort that you paid for with your hard-earned money, but the staff is also trying their best to make a living. Don’t forget to leave a tip throughout your experience!

THIS PLACE IS PARADISE! This place is MAGICAL! The food, drinks, rooms, staff and entertainment is absolutely phenomenal. Alberto, Naomi, Charlie, Fabian, Jesus, Andres are just a few of the amazing members of the entertainment staff. My mom and I left feeling like we were a part of the Excellence family. Some of my favorite activities were AquaFun (dancing in the pool), beach volleyball and the nighttime bands in the plaza. The pool staff was very attentive and kind during the day, brining us requested drinks and new drinks to try. The restaurant staff is some of the best I’ve ever had and the food is just delicious. We specifically loved Lobster House for breakfast and lunch (Enrique and Yumari met us with great service and a smile everyday!) Our favorite restaurants for dinner were Basmati (Indian food) and Spice (Asian). Our waiters at Basmati ordered off the menu for us (because we couldn’t decide) and we had a transformative meal. If you feel wary of Indian food, this is a great first-time place. The food isn’t too spicy and it is very flavorful. We had the pleasure of trying multiple dishes at Spice, and we had a great chat with the manager of the restaurant. I could go on and on, but this place is amazing. So amazing that I want to go back later this year. Book this trip! No need to wait for paradise.

The best trip I have ever taken and worth every single penny, 100/10 experience. Me and my newlywed wife had the greatest honeymoon I believe anyone could ever ask for. Some of the best memories I will ever have were made here and I can say that after only going last week. We have made lifelong friendships with multiple employees and other people we met. My favorite activities had to be the swimming pool dances, with dj Alberto who I became and will continue to be good friends with, that the entertainment crew led, the piña loca drink making lessons, and mostly the hair braiding on the beach done by Jesús and Naomi, we learned so much about the Mexican culture from the conversations we had while getting our hair braided and we both got more compliments on our hair than we ever have before. I feel like everyone saw our braids and immediately started getting their hair braided, it was an amazing thing to see and Jesús and Naomi are the most talented braiders I have experienced. Jesús, Naomi, Alberto (the best poolside DJ), me, and my wife became very close in a short amount of time and I can say for certain that every employee at this resort treats you like family, we became close with some that were our age but it seems like everyone finds the employees they relate with the most and create a bonds unlike anything I’ve seen before. I’ve never been to another resort outside the US besides this resort and can tell you it is unlike anything you have or will ever experience. I would personally like to thank every single person involved with Excellence Playa Mujeres for giving me memories I will cherish for the rest of my life!!!!! Also Jesus, Naomi, and Alberto deserve big bonuses lol _❤️

Absolutely breathtaking and excellent! The overall experience was amazing and I NEED to go back every year! The staff was outstanding; a couple of staff members that made our experience worthwhile were Jesus, Naomi, Alberto, Jose and Rosa. These staff members welcomed us like family. The one activity that my husband and I loved was the HAIR BRAIDING from Naomi and Jesus; this was such an experience. They braided our hair on the beach and in the pool; we got SO many compliments by the other visitors, as well as we got others to get their hair braided by them too. People loved this activity a lot and I hope it is still at the resort next time! Jose was our waiter at Magna and at Oregano and he treated us like family. He was kind, well spoken and was very helpful. Alberto, was apart of the entertainment crew with the dancing in the pool; he became a great friend and a great part of our experience. Rosa, was in the gift shop who greeted us with kind words, helped us around the store as well as even giving us background information about some pieces in the store. Very sweet lady. This resort went above and beyond to make sure the visitors were loved on, welcomed and treated like royalty. Highly recommend this lovely resort.
