Worth the stay. I was pleasantly happy with what we got. We had came from another hotel that was TERRIBLE. So getting to our room here was a breath of fresh air. The reason I won’t be giving 5 stars is because of the bathroom. However, the good things were the bed was decently comfy. Loved having a balcony even if we were looking at the parking lot. The man that helped take us to our room, with our luggage was very kind. They let us check in early. We used points for this stay, but it was nice. Water was nice and warm for a shower. Overall very clean.! Could use some upgrades but I am very pleased with our experience! We didn’t get to check the pool, spa, or bowling out… I wish we had more time.

Go elsewhere Everything you need to know in two photos. Worn out property. Staff who can’t be bothered. Definitely stretches the definition of the word resort. Dirty blanket, dirty tub. Limited on site dining. Small bathroom. I can’t find much good to say.

Could not enjoy the pool with everyone. Ruined my birthday trip. Not worth the money We had five people staying in one room, which makes sense because four can sleep on the beds and one on the floor, and when we went to the pool, they only let four of us in the pool. I couldn’t enjoy it with everyone. Ruined my birthday weekend. Thx

A Pleasant Stay We were here for a soccer tournament that was happening about fifteen minutes away in Schamberg. The tournament rules said we had to book our stay at this location, but we were not disappointed. This was a very nice resort outside the city. It has a very good gold course which is well-maintained. There are many people who come just for the day to play a round. As for the hotel, the entrance is very impressive. The ceilings in the lobby are a few stories high, with big windows that let in a lot of light. The staff were pleasant and friendly, which was a nice welcome. The rooms are off to one side of the lobby with narrow hallways with low ceilings. The bulk of the rooms are in two towers off to the left side of the lobby. The walk to the rooms was long, especially if you're staying in the North Tower. If people are waiting for the elevator, it makes for a tight squeeze. The rooms, however, are very nice. They were clean, comfortable, and had good standard amenities. The bathroom was similarly clean and the soap/shampoo were better than in many hotels I've stayed in. Parking was easy to find, but, again, there was nothing close to the rooms, so get a trolley.

Eaglewood Evil Pool Lady We were so excited to stay here. Checked in hotel staff was great. Rooms were a little dark and run down but we were thrilled with the amenities and excited to bowl, swim and steam shower. It was all good until we entered the pool area. The staff lady at the pool was unprofessional and confrontational for no reason. She bullied our kids and us upon entrance for no reason. We were warned if our kids caused a problem we would be sued. Keep in mind our kids are 4 and 7. I wish I had read the comments prior to visiting this hotel. Although we went in December, it does look like they have a fun golf area for the family to enjoy in the summer. With that said, you can enjoy this hotel but stay far away from the pool.
