Great Getaway My wife and I were looking for a place to get away to relax and unwind after this past year. We found the Copper Beech Inn and made a reservation for three nights. Upon arriving we were very pleased to find the place warm and inviting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept and our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Dinner at their restaurant was delicious, the wait staff very courteous and helpful. Breakfast in the atrium every morning was excellent. Rides throughout the surrounding area were very scenic and enjoyable. Lots to see and do. I would definitely recommend The Copper Beech Inn to friends and family and hopefully to return for another visit in the future.

Not worth the price The Copper Beech Inn is okay, but certainly overpriced for what it offers. Our room and the hallway in the carriage house smelled of mold. There was no trash basket in the room (only in the bathroom). No in-room refrigerator. When we went for breakfast we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our food, twice. And there is nothing special about the location. That said, the food was good and they had reasonable anti-covid measures (though they were annoyed when we asked to have breakfast outside instead of the enclosed space they prefer to use).

Pretty Grounds But Tired Rooms The first room that we had reserved was surprisingly tired and weatherbeaten, especially for a hotel with a 4 star classification. The wallpaper was detaching from the wall in multiple places. When we reserved the room I had inquired about the room having a deck and was told that it did. However, there was a sign on the door leading to the deck which said the deck was not available as it was under construction. We let the young woman at the front desk know that we were dissatisfied with the room and she moved us to a nicer and larger room with a larger and nicer bathroom as well. However, the toilet seat was chipped and scratched in several places. We were able to use the deck at the second room. The deck is an open one for four rooms rather than a private deck per room. It would be helpful if the front desk informed lodgers of this detail. We appreciated that we were moved to a nicer room, however, we will not return to this inn for future trips because we have seen inexpensive chain motels that are better kept up than this hotel. But the hotel's restaurant is a different story- excellent food! Don't miss it!

Wonderful Getaway My husband and I needed a short weekend getaway and we were not disappointed with our stay! We stayed in room 217 which came with a king sized bed and a jacuzzi. Even though we were not too far from home, we felt like we were really away and were able to relax. The highlight of our stay was dinner at their in-house restaurant. The food was incredible, and our server was extremely personable and welcoming. You could tell there was something special about the entire place. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Picturesque Inn with great service. This picturesque Inn is located in a wonderful area with lots of little towns to explore that are just a few minutes away. The breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely atrium. We are on a mother/daughter getaway
