Nordic Village Resort

Great time at Nordic Village Resort My husband and I and our 3 year old grandson spent three nights in one of the Chateau suites. We had a wonderful time. The unit was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and comfortable, and we loved the private pool for guests of the Chateau units. I know that some reviews refer to Nordic Village as dated and somewhat run-down. The Chateau buildings are well-maintained, and I highly recommend them.

What a vacation resort!! We are so happy with Nordic Village Resort!! Whenever we need just the right room at the resort at just the right time the staff do everything they can to accommodate us. Again any time of the year that you want to get away up in the mountains for an experience you will never forget we highly recommend Nordic Village Resort!

Great condo but Too Hot! We recently spent a couple of nights in a 2 bedroom condo at the Nordic Village resort. The unit was perfect for our needs and close to Wildcat where we were skiing. We were delighted with the kitchen and dining capabilities and cooked in both nights we stayed. The place was very clean and beds very comfortable. Our adult children loved the pools and the hot tubs. Our major complaint was how hot our unit was when we arrived. One of the thermostats registered 75 degrees. Even after turning off all heat zones it was still too hot. We ended up opening up some windows, a slider door and running a fan to push the hot air out of the loft area. Finally we were able to get the place cooled down to 65 degrees. I assume that the unit below us had their heat cranked which was causing our discomfort. We had brought with us a small humidifier but wished we had a larger one as it was quite dry in our unit especially the loft area. When talking to the front desk, it was not clear that there is anything they would or could have done about the excessive heat. Unless we can get assurances that heat problem is addressed, we will not be going back to Nordic Village this time of year. There were heat pump air conditioners in the unit BUT the remotes were not available. I assume they do not want people running AC in January which is what I would have resorted to if I had the option.

Nice! The place was clean but very dated. On the outside all the paint was peeling off the sides. The bathroom had a tall jetted tub that was hard to get into. Would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Nice view from the balcony. The staff was very accommodating. Good location a few miles from North Conway.

Wonderful place to stay For us, rooms were very clean and in good condition. Views were great. We got a second floor with a loft. The admin ladies were awesome and very kind. We had a great stay at Nordic Village and would like to visit again for a longer stay. This is a hidden jam in Bartlett, New Hampshire!! Thank you!
