Disappointing. I know pay has a good bit to do with this but I feel it could be better for $85. There are holes in the bedding. The lady at the front took forever to work with us. We will not be back. 10/10 don’t recommend.

My first time staying - I would stay again Room was in need of much repair with regards to drywall, plaster, etc…., but it served its purpose with regards to the value for the money. Room was clean, didn’t have any unusual smells and to be honest - had one of the best showers I have ever had with regards to water temperature and pressure.

Not Great but the Price was Right. We got a great rate on line, and for a one night stopover, I'm very satisfied we got good value for what we paid. I heard a conversation in the lobby where the clerk had to charge about 35% more than we paid booking on line. At that price, the niggly little stuff like the slightly whiny AC might have bothered me. I don't necessarily believe you "get what you pay for," I've got hundreds of examples where that didn't happen, but the idea "you don't get what you don't pay for." is right on. We didn't pay much here, and we got good value for what we paid.

Vols Staff was very friendly. Very convenient location. Had a great time. Nice town Camp Lejuene. Near great stores & restaurants. Gas prices were unbelievably low. Nice ride to Emerald Isle. Plan to revisit soon.

Sunset Inn is just meh. I only stayed one night. Continental breakfast was very bare bones. Allegedly non-smoking room was smokey smelling and there were holes in the bed sheets from cigarette burns. Parking lot was just re-sealed prior to my arrival and I was told they would be painting the exterior. The location is convenient along main drag, the rate was decent, and the check-in lady was very pleasant. Otherwise, I would probably not come back when I am in town next.
