The room was inviting and had an "old-fashioned home" feel. The receptionist, Yvonne, was the sweetest lady. And extremely helpful! She was friendly and checked us in, greeting us with a pleasant smile. The room was inviting and had an "old-fashioned home" feel. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We will be visiting this motel nestled in the quaint town of Jamestown!

EXCELLENT place - 6 stars!!! Visited two days before 4th of July 2024, arrived later thinking it might be full. It was the day of our first anniversary and this place was the perfect place to land on our way to the Eastern Sierra. Yvonne at the desk was gracious and accommodating and incredible and we had the best stay ever. Thank you, Railtown Motel for being awesome. We wish there more than 5 available stars.

Good little Yosemite gateway property Great value hotel located 1 hour from Yosemite. Small older property. The employee who checked us in was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious with a surprise of a spa tub (that could be used for an extra fee). I liked the room, king bed, mini fridge, microwave and a nice pool

Perfect getaway To start with when I walked in the office Yvonne greeted me with a cheerful how are you and was very pleasent. She let me know things I could do around and was sure to let me know to let her know if we needed anything! The room was clean and more than I expected when I opened the door. The bed is super comfy just perfect to melt it! The pool was absolutely amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this place, perfect date night getaway!

Cozy Gold Country Stay Centrally located in Jamestown, Ca, this motel is clean and a short walk to restaurants and areas of interest. The rooms are clean and pet friendly. The staff are wonderful. They really helped me and my family out during our stay. This motel is roughly an hour away from Yosemite, and walking distance to Railtown Historic Park.
