We love the Club! Jekyll Island Club is, hands down, the most beautiful resort/hotel on the island. The jewel of the historic district, this property is minutes from the beaches and hotels, but nestled on the quiet and luxurious side of Jekyll Island.

Perfect weekend getaway This property is perfect for a family weekend getaway. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The property manager was visible and welcoming. The grounds are perfect and the amenities are top-notch. You can’t go wrong staying at this property that’s full of history. There is plenty for all ages on the property and the island. Don’t miss the champagne sabering!

Big Roaches and Rooms were not clean The property is beautiful and majestic. Staff were nice but I don't think they can override the concerns for cleanliness and roaches during the summer. Fortunately, I got in around 8pm and had to rush to dinner so I didn't open my suitcase. Upon my return from dinner there were two huge roaches scurrying towards my suitcase. While I understand that I am in the South and it's humid for summer, I don't expect to have this issue in my hotel room. Given these concerns for bugs, you would think there would be screens behind the vents to prevent this situation. I own and RV put screens over the vents to prevent big bugs or other unwanted visitors entering my RV. I was then given a bigger, "nicer" room that would have a less likely possibility of roaches but it was clearly not cleaned. There was a used shower towel hung over the shower, one of the pillows on the bed looked like it had been laid on, there was trash in the bathroom trash, a roach leg in the bathroom, and the floor was clearly not vacuumed.

Wonderful Anniversary Trip My husband and I recently stayed for our anniversary. While there appeared to be many guests throughout the property, everything was still so quiet and relaxing. We rented bikes and spent most days biking around the property, over to the ocean club, etc. The food a 80 Ocean was superb. So much so we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there one day! Ha! Staff was incredible everywhere as well. We golfed at two of the courses available as well and everything was great.
