Extremely good room in a very convenient location to NYC The room was absolutely huge, it could easily be characterized as a small suite. The housekeeping staff kept the room immaculate, and never interrupted me once. I would stay here again to go into NYC/Jersey Shore area anytime, I am extremely satisfied! The bed was super comfortable, and everything made this the most comfortable, high value hotel in the NYC area just a few minutes walk from the PATH train.

A Curate's Egg- good in parts Julie, Viktoria, Carlos and Ayama were most obliging. Chambermaid service was excellent. Decent size rooms. Those are the plusses. Bath needs a shower mat- surface is slippery, and also needs a handrail. Avoid the breakfast- the 'egg patties' and 'sausages' - might be acceptable in a Victorian workhouse or as an exhibit in Ripley's 'Believe it or not', but were not to my taste. BUT- people were eating them. Mind you, I was very unimpressed with American food in restaurants . I fail to understand why I was asked for a $250 deposit. No bar in, or close to the Ramada. Jersey City itself I do not recommend as a holiday resort. Reception was unable to call for cabs. Those are the minuses. Summary ? you get what you pay for.

nice quiet hotel with spacy rooms We liked the hotel, our room was quiet and spacy, the beds were very comfortable. The location is very close to the path train, only three stations away from World Trade Center. The stuff is very friendly. We come again.

ATTENTION !! STEALING IN HOTEL RECEPTION !! ATTENTION! I want to inform all future guests to be cautious when staying at the Ramada hotel in Jersey City. Recently, friends from Montenegro who were on a short stay in New York were supposed to bring me a MacBook laptop, which I purchased online and had delivered to the hotel reception, specifically to their room number (508), based on approval from the reception staff to leave the package there, assuring them it would be held for my friends to collect when they returned to the hotel later that day. However, when my friends arrived and requested the laptop, they were informed by the reception that someone had already come and taken the laptop left at the hotel reception, designated to their room number. They were shown footage of a person wearing a blue hooded jacket, mask and blue gloves taking the laptop. Therefore, the laptop was taken by someone wearing a hooded jacket and gloves, who did not show any identification nor a room key, nor was the hotel staff asked to do so, directly raising suspicion that the reception staff were involved in the incident. An investigation will certainly be launched, and I hereby call on the hotel management to investigate the situation, as this is an extremely unprofessional and inhumane act.
