Never again. Tiny is a good word to describe this hotel. They call it a Suite, I suppose because it has a full size refrigerator and a sink, That is where it ends. Tiny describes the reception area and the area to get your muffin and juice (that's it) in the morning. The bathroom is so small the door barely misses the toilet (which you have lean against to look in the mirror. The toilet had to be helped to flush. The table in the room was too small to eat at. The trash cans at the entrance were overflowing to the point there lots of paper flying in the parking lot. I could go on, but the bottom line is skip this place.

Disappointing experience Bed was less than 12” from window/3” from heater. No lights on wall with TV across from bed, making the room dark. No comfortable seating, just 2 hard table chairs. Had to get light bulb for floor lamp. No laundry bag. Bathroom small, including bath tub. No telephone or phone jacks. Room doesn’t look like the room pictured on the website. Couldn’t park next to building because “painting to be done early Sunday morning.” We checked out by 7:30 am, no sign of painting being started. We’ve stayed at other MainStays that were high quality. This was a BIG disappointment.

Not Advised Under Renovation Spent 1 night. Was not warned it was under renovation when I booked reservation. No breakfast, pool, exercise room, etc. Lots of boxes in halls & reception area. Main entry was smoking area. I would look elsewhere.

Safe clean place to stay Two story building near a church. Front desk clerk was friendly. She was clear about safety of hotel- enter only through front door. May exit side doors but must enter through the front. Told us pool hours, breakfast times and elevator location. Indoor pool was open. Hot tub not working. Stayed on 2nd floor. Room was good size. Seemed like lamps did not turn on., however the Switch for lamps (way on other side of room by window ) was right next to door you enter. Overhead light right by door on separate switch right there. Overall it is a good place. A safe in which to store valuables was between Queen beds. I appreciated the card on bed that Told me to let them know how they could make my stay better.

Above and beyond service I had been stranded on the side of the road for hours and was brought to this hotel by a tow truck driver at 3 AM. I had no dinner and was starving and nothing was open at that hour and when I arrived I asked Stephanie, the night desk clerk, if they had any snacks for sale. I told her that I hadn’t had any dinner and she offered to share with me the pizza she had ordered for dinner that she had left over. I grateful accepted! She was so sweet and compassionate for my plight. I also requested a late check out because of my late arrival and by the time I would wake up, the breakfast would have been over. As I would not have a car in the morning and would have to take an Uber to the Walmart to get new tires the next day, I wouldn’t be able to stop and get breakfast either without having to take two Uber rides. I asked Stephanie if there was anyway someone could set aside a muffin or something for me so that I would have something to eat before leaving for the Walmart. The next day when I came down and inquired, the day desk clerk told me that there was something set aside for me. Stephanie had put together an entire breakfast (which the food was very good) for me and she paid attention to every last detail about it. (Not forgetting the butter, etc.). What a fabulous surprise and what a wonderful person she is! The day clerk (bpierc) was also super nice and even though the dining room was already cleaned and closed, she let me go in there to use the microwave to heat my food up and got me something to drink and allowed me to use a table. My room was nice too and I have no complaints about the hotel. I will be a repeat customer at the Choice Hotels.
