So far, NOT impressed with this motel We've only been here an hour but felt the need to write a review immediately. I will update later, as we are here for three nights. It's 91 degrees, and when we walked into our room at 4:30ish the A/C was not turned on. Here we are an hour later with curtains shut and room still isn't cool. Also, just like every other hotel/motel we've stayed during our trip there is an ice bucket. But this place charges for freaking ice!!! We went and bought a bag...but how will it stay cool as we only have a fridge, no freezer? These are very small things that, I don't care how much or how little you pay for a room, should be included. If you have to raise your rates $5-$10/night, DO IT!!!

Owner is a scammer and thief will walk into your room when you’re gone. Owner will watch you on cameras when you leave. He will go into your room. Owner is rude ,raciest, condescending, thief, creep, entitled, scammer. Make sure to ask for receipt if he ask for a deposit that is refundable and keep an eye out for it to be returned. He tried stealing my deposit and told my bank when they called I purchased services from him. I made a mistake of not asking for a receipt. Also, if you’re booking with booking.com or any other 3rd party website you don’t have to pay a security deposit if he asks you to decline and call the 3rd party let them know owner of the motel is trying ti charge you a security deposit. He has no right doing so and will do it to try and rob you. He is a thief and will go behind the front desk into the bank office with your id and card and will take pictures and make copies to steal your information. He is a scammer and will steal from your cards. BEWARE!!!!!

The worst hotel in the California desert Quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in and that’s saying a lot for the desert of California. The room was disgusting in so many ways. All the furniture had massive stains. The AC was beat up and barely functioned. The Wi-Fi was at best spotty at worst worthless. I don’t see any point in saving this hotel: it should probably just be razed.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs! Bed bugs, bed bugs, stay away from this place!!! Worst place I stayed ever I was bitten by bed bugs. I was bitten on my face around eyes and nose, hands, arms and torso. My hand got swollen due to number of bites on my hand. I had to run away from this place in the middle of the night due to the infestation. The management is fully aware and still accept quests to the rooms. The management refused to refund for the stay.

High Desert Noon Stay Staying at a genuine desert motel has been a big bucket list item for me. And when I had the opportunity to visit Joshua Tree there was only one choice - the High Desert Motel Joshua Tree National Park. It is everything you would expect of a desert motel - it is authentic! No luxury trims or fancy service or anything you would demand in a big city. Just a desert motel. And if you also want to experience something authentic straight out of a 1960's western movie, the this is your choice.
