Club Wyndham Mauna Loa Village

Wonderful resort The staff were amazing! They were efficient and helpful, going above and beyond to treat guest with Aloha! Resort and our one bedroom condo were extremely clean. AC worked very well! We enjoyed having access to multiple pools and bbqs after beach days (you do need a car to enjoy the island). We also enjoyed this location next to Keauhou Bay (do a manta ray excursion if you have the chance). Nice artisan market nearby too.

Nice resort, but bug issue in room The grounds were nice, and the room was spacious. There was a major bug issue issue in the kitchen with small fast mite type bugs all over the counter, small appliances, and food while attempting to cook. pest control was scheduled, but the bug issue wasn't remedied. Staff were friendly and professional. Sign by door requested to remove shoes when in the room, but my wife found two pieces of broken glass in the carpet in the main living space.

Quiet, clean home base for your Hawaii excursions. We stayed for a week in December 2023. Our 1 bedroom upper floor room 3-18 was spacious and clean. We had a pool view, and the ac/appliances worked well. If you get up early, they also have a limited number of beach chairs to borrow for your trips to the beach. The pool and hot tub were clean and our nightly hang out. There are no ocean views, but it’s a great home base as you check out the island via day trips _.

Great time share This was our first time at this timeshare. We have stayed at other RCI time shares on the island and compared to those this was on par or better. The units are old, but if you can get over that the stay is fabulous. Spacious units, comfy beds, superb guest services, beach chairs and umbrellas available for free, quiet setting, beautiful gardens, and all the tennis and pickleball you can stand, with lighted courts. The old part just means that the kitchens are dated, the bathrooms are small, the microwave is from the 1980s, and the furnishings are well worn. What is interesting about the layout is that there is a central parking garage and you have a bit of a walk to and from your unit, depending on which unit you get. There are golf carts that provide rides at times, but this inconvenience may put some people off. We loved it because it meant that there is zero vehicle traffic in the complex, making our stay as relaxing and quiet as could be.

A Little Piece of Paradise This is a great place to stay. Well maintained, very comfortable, amazing staff. Great location, need a vehicle to get around. Facilities are excellent. Pools are clean. Tennis courts plentiful. Golf nearby.
