Avoid at All costs The room was dark, musty and smelled like mildew - it was so disgusting that I really did not want to touch anything! I did speak to reception who sent someone to spray the room but it was a room that badly needed a deep clean, new carpets and a repaint. The receptionist offered to change rooms but given that our luggage was being picked up by the Rocky Mountaineer crew we felt that this would disrupt the system and we would never see our bag again. The room is also dated - the bed was ok but I just could not get past the stench of the room. It is also located in the middle of nowhere - and trying to get a piece of fresh fruit is impossible!

Decent overnight stop for Rocky Mountaineer We had a night here - like many others - as a break in our Rocky Mountaineer journey. Unlike some reviewers we found it a comfortable hotel, with a good sized room well equipped with comfortable beds, shower, fridge, coffee and water (the latter free from reception). We ate in the hotel bar/restaurant which had a quirky international menu. Food and drink were fine and reasonably priced. The main problem with the hotel is its location amidst a group of similar hotels and well away from independent restaurants or good places to walk. However, as someone who doesn’t sleep on moving trains, it was infinitely preferable to sleeping on the train! But in itself we found the hotel good and staff very helpful.

Better than Most Beautiful hotel, Stayed here a bunch for Medical reasons, close to the hospital for appointments. Staff are friendly No problem check in. We always have our dog, she is a pit bull mix and they always say hi to her, which is nice because people are afraid of her for no reason. Pet Rooms are on the ground floor which is perfect because she doesn't like elevators. The pet friendly rooms are CLEAN you would think maybe a slight pet smell because these are for people with pets. No smell and no strong perfume trying to hide a smell either! The only thing I would like is a little spot for dogs to go to the bathroom but they are limited in space outside and I think alot of people would abuse it by not cleaning up after their pets. Restaurant food is "meh" its alot for the just ok food quality. Gorgeous indoor pool and hot tub in a gorgeous Atrium. Always happy so far!

So so for a quick overnight stay We stayed one night on our way back from Jasper. The room was standard for a meal d range hotel. Bed and pillow wasn’t too comfortable but check in was fast and there was plenty of onsite free parking. Disappointed that breakfast wasn’t inclusive for the price. Location was so so, we had a car and only just stopping for an overnight stay so it wasn’t a problem. The atrium with pool was nice but the chlorine smell of the pool can be smelled from inside our “atrium viewed” room

Good choice when visiting Kamloops This hotel has comfortable rooms, with everything you need including a microwave , mini fridge and coffee/tea set up. The number of TV stations is amazing, and I was even able to pick up a few local US stations, even my hometown station. I had room 221 which was a nice size, had a queen size bed, and a large bathroom with shower. There is an entrance way so I set up the ironing board to use as an added surface area for my carry-on. The staff is friendly and helpful and their wi-fi was excellent. There is not a whole lot to see around the hotel. There is a restaurant across the road in one direction and a strip mall (including a Dollarama) in the other direction. Someone in our group mentioned there is a McDonalds within walking distance. This 3-star property is a great place to spend a night or two when in the area.
