Miserable life changing charges!! They have no morals and charged after only one night had a death in the family and have send Keri the general manager the information. He has taken over 62,315.68 for two rooms one night. The staff even billed my credit card for the other guest without my permission. This is place is must avoid unless you want to financially set back. I am now
Homeless and carless due to them. Avoid at all costs. No empathy or transparency pure sheep’s in wolf’s clothing.

Phenomenal facilities and location with some room for improvement. The Amangiri offers an experience that’s incomparable. The location and the facilities are phenomenal. Everything from the design of the place to the surrounding environment create a place that immerse you in an isolated and enchanting setting. The only thing that dampened this feeling was the presence of children. A part of the resort at least should be for adults only. Despite the uniqueness of the place there’s a few flaws that should be addressed to make it better. The food is honest but the wine selection is seriously lacking. It’s inexplicable that an establishment of this caliber doesn’t have a resident sommelier. A qualified barista could also improve the morning experience. The service also feels a bit “green”. All the staff is very polite and helpful especially at the front desk and hospitality however the service crew doesn’t quite have the level expected for an establishment of this level. When we asked for afternoon tea the staff was mystified by the concept although it was something we had requested beforehand. Notwithstanding these issues, the stay was overall a unique immersive experience that’s worthy of the trip to this remote place.

Absolutely spectacular. I am lucky to visit the most amazing places on this planet with my work. This is in the TOP of all time.
First let me say: the negative reviews must be one group that was very angry about something or some very odd mix up. It cannot be a regular thing.I have had nothing but perfect service.
The location is magical. The architecture is so gorgeous.
The staff on my stay was perfect. Lovely. Attentive. The food was delicious everywhere. The spa is amazing. The pool is amazing. I am here for three days and I wish it was 10. There are so many incredible experiences if you want to venture out. I stayed and hiked all over amangiri. If you can swing it, do yourself a favor and come.

Disappointing Absolutely beautiful setting! We stayed in a pavilion for 4 nights. Only issue we had was with service which was either excellent or literally non existent. We heard they were going through a staffing issue. At dinner we literally sat there 20 minutes without being acknowledged. I finally went to the host stand and asked for water thinking he would realize no one had approached us. He filled our water and still we sat until asking to be moved to another area that seemed to have servers. My daughter was forgotten after checking in for her facial. After waiting 15 minutes past her appointment time she went to the desk and they acted surprised she was still waiting. Several instances of asking for menus or drinks at the main pool and they never appeared. Not at all what we expected at a place of this caliber.
Also I would not recommend getting there via Contour airline. Both days we flew them they were delayed with mechanical issues. There is no gate agent at the phoenix airport and no communication about flights. We hired a driver to take us back to phoenix for trip home. Four hour drive but worth it to not have to worry about missed connections.

RUDE MANAGER Let me start by saying, the communication at this property is very poor. I kept on calling them about planning an activity prior to my arrival date and was being put on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone.
I saw an activity online ( Stairway via Ferrata ) which piqued my interest informed by the receptionist/ resort that this is only possible by staying at Amangiri since this is one of the activities offered by the resort. I tried to booked for 2 nights but I was told they can only accommodate me for one night which I agreed since this is just a side trip for my other booked activities with other nearby parks ( Bryce Canyon and Zion National park ). Looking back , Thank GOD I only stayed overnight.
I arrive early at the resort because I don’t wanna be late with my scheduled activity at 9AM and was coming from Brye canyon. The guy who meet us outside told us that there is no room available which is understandable and we are not requesting or demanding because We know check in time is 3/4PM. I said it’s okay I am aware. So he let us IN.
When we arrive at the reception desk Candice asked us how dd we get in with the reservation since they were in the process of “buy out” with other guest, I was surprised to hear that but I shrugged my shoulder. My understanding seems like the breakfast area was reserved that day and the guests are scheduled to checked out the same day. I explained to her that I informed someone of my arrival specially the time because of my scheduled activity. The people at the front desk seemed confused and not happy with our arrival. They keep on questioning us why someone let us IN at the resort.
Hannah (FRONT DESK MANAGER ) came to us very rude yelling and humiliated us infront of other guests telling us that we were not supposed to be there at such time. She told us that we should be happy because they let us IN but we are not allowed to be in that area, She was yelling that other guest from the breakfast area can hear and are looking at us.
My friend wanted to leave and cancel the activity but she knows that the activity I was booked IN was one of my bucket list so we stayed, The manager came in at some point while we were waiting for the timed activity informing us that we can grab something from the breakfast area - WE DID NOT ATTEMPT because of the humiliation we received. There is no difference of the service with any other hotels.
