Never been pleased with this place. This hotel is always too small, overpriced, and just crappy. Boutique hotel is short for POS. Never pleased with the ratings it gets automatically bumped to because it is in downtown. This is a 3 star hotel all day, maybe a 2.5 star. Never ever a 4 star. I visited longer ago than april 2020.

Great people and convenient location. My family stayed at this Hotel for a convention. The employees were all very professional, helpful, and pleasant. The restaurant had a great breakfast, and the employees there were very nice and attentive also. It is hard to beat this location in the downtown area. It is also a close walk from the KC Streetcar and the power and light district. You can walk from the hotel to the convention center in and underground walkway. The rooms were clean, and well maintained, with the very minor cosmetic issues you would expect in an older hotel. The wifi worked well. The mgmt at this place has definitely trained the employees on service. I would go back with my family any time.

Exceeded My Expectations I really loved this hotel. I got a great deal on the price through Groupon. It was close to everything, staff was friendly, room was very nice and clean. The complimentary glass of champagne at check in was a super nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'll book for my next Downtown KC stay.

Close to the usic Hall and Sprint Center A great place to stay when you are attending an event at the Music Hall, KC. Easy check in, Valet parking that is reasonable, near the Sprint Center and Light and Power district. Park here, take a ride service and feel free to have fun...

Do not be fooled by the pictures this place is horrible! I booked a room for 12/13/18 to go visit some relatives in Kansas City. Upon arrival to the hotel I was already having regrets, there was construction going on outside the building and the street was covered in dust. You had to walk over dusty wooden boards just to emerge the hotel. When I entered the hotel, I checked in, got my room key, and went to the elevator. The elevator was so tiny that me and the two other people I were on there with could barely fit. When I got to my floor, the people had to get off the elevator just so I would be able to get off. Then I went to the room, I opened the door to the room and was disgusted. The room was so small it was ridiculous, your bags along could take up majority of the room space. The sheets on the bed where nasty and smelled, the bathrooms were very small and had an oder, and the curtains had stains. When you open the curtains the windows were cracked and resembled the windows of a rundown apartment. I was so unsatisfied I called the desk and asked for a better room only to find out I was staying in one the best rooms they had to offer. I immediately went down stairs and checked out. After I checked out I noticed a refund for the amount that I had paid for the room. I thought this was great since I only stayed all of 30 minutes. But then later found out they charged my card $149 dollars. I would recommend a motel before sleeping at this establishment, it was honestly the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. There refund policy is set up to trap guest into staying but I was so disgusted that the money did not even matter. Save your money and save your time don’t book here. If you have already made the mistake of booking here you can’t cancel because they won’t return your money. Without a doubt I can say this is the worst hotel in downtown Kansas City!
