Some helpful tips for future travelers and mgt. Third time I have stayed in this hotel over the last 24 months. The room was clean. The tv remote didn't work and even after bringing it up to the front desk the same remote was left and the issue wasn't remedied. I tried to fix/adjust some of the settings for my older family members such as Closed Captioning but without a functioning remote that was impossible. The bathroom door was missing a hinge pin so the door was not closing appropriately. I took it upon myself (40 yr old woman) to move the pins around the door would operate properly. I asked for more pillows as I would be the one sleeping on the sofa sleeper. No extra pillows were left. Need new sofa sleepers as the current ones are at end of life. The hotel front desk staff are professional but this time I was given keys to a room that was occupied and had to make a trip to front desk to ask what room was unoccupied. I would have been horrified if the guest had actually been in the room at that time. I may stay at another location of Comfort Inn and Suites but unfortunately this location is off my preferred one for a while as I visit Katy, TX.

Shelter, with great service, from the storm. After Hurricane Beryl, this was the only hotel I could find that actually had a room. Lucky for me it was also an accessible room. The hotel staff was working hard to meet the demands of a distressed populous. Erin seemed to be at the front desk every time I was there no matter the hour. I don't know how she managed to keep it together with the annoyance of the phone constantly ringing, the lobby full of people, current guests, and staff who needed something. This happened everyday, all day while I was there. I was anxious just watching, but Erin just kept working. Occasionally I would see another person at the desk to help her. I would suggest to the hotel, during a crisis they really need to have two people at the front desk during working hours 9-5, to help manage the mass that descends looking for relief. Since many people were also booking on line, I was at the mercy of cancelations to keep my room each day. Luckily Erin was able to accommodate me for at least two more times. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, and despite the fact that they probably were dealing with their own issues from the storm, came to work to help the rest of us. A big shout out of THANKS to Erin and all the staff at Comfort Suite at Katy Mills who made a bad situation better for me, many Houstonians, and out of towners.

Wonderful hotel! Laura, the desk clerk deserves a raise. She is definitely the right person to be in the travel industry. The room was perfect. We had family come for an evening visit and there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy the evening. The room was immaculate with everything we needed and with extra towels, etc. The shower was hot and everything worked! The bed was great and the night was quiet. Wil definitely stay again!

Ladies Beware!!! Ladies beware! At this location, a pin-hole camera was installed in a picture frame in the room that my wife was staying in. She notified the authorities and later the front desk clerk (not the manager or owner) called her and said she was banned from the location. I will not spend another dime at a Comfort Suites or a Choice Hotels until this matter is addressed! So, if you are concerned for your health, safety, privacy, your wives, daughters and children... stay away from these hotels at all cost. Specifically, the Comfort Suites at the Katy Mills location. There are pictures, my wife physically took the camera and there is a police report and investigation.
