Great location, great resort facilities, in need of an update. Rooms are big and comfortable with everything you would need for a long stay. Beds are comfy and everything is clean. Pools were great and we really enjoyed that they had an adults only pool. Service at the pool was very friendly. Parking was super handy & resort facilities were great. Staff at the marina were excellent! As the lobby is updated it makes me think an update is coming? That would be great! Elevator was crazy slow and the water and/or ice _ from the machine tasted moldy. Key cards were super sensitive so regularly had to get them re-programmed after going up to the room. Front desk staff took a ‘blame the customer’ approach rather than ‘we’re working on it’ approach- which was not really appreciated.

Great Resort Nice big bed with 4 soft pillows, clean room, with a keurig lots coffee, lil fridge. Not a lot of tv channels to watch at night. 3 pools and a great adult pool and hot tub,2 restaurants but really expensive and a private beach. Close to everything!

Average and Sonewhat Overpriced Appearance of Hotel is great BUT several things make review poor. 1. Room was properly cleaned b4 check in - an obvious peanut on floor. 2. Not told at check in of CAD15 per day parking charge. 3. Was told at check in that CAD250 deposit would be refunded straight way at check out, but at check out we were told 5 days!! And 'no' it's not a bank issue as all hotels have different timescales and some do refund it straight away. 3. Restaurant service was average at best - had to ask twice to order and then twice to det dessert menu. 4. Food was average - caesar salad was almost all lettuce, few anchovies and no croutons. Greek Salad had almost tasteless creM cheese not real feta. And baklava was biscuit not filo pastry and no honey dressing/sauce.

Phone Assistance with Reservations Natasha M from the resort gave 5 star incredible service! She was so pleasant on the phone and so helpful! Works fast and efficient and really had the customers best interest at heart when it came to fees/rooms and booking overall. She is an absolute gem and even on a short phone call I could tell she is an incredible asset to any team and Manteo is so lucky to have her! I hope any future customers get to deal with her when they call in!

Give the girl a raise ;) The service at the Manteo was outstanding. But I have to give the biggest shout out to Ashley Powell. She was a force and truly made my life so much easier by being there. We were organizers for the BC Cann@bis Summit April 21-23 and she helped me tremendously, and had such a cool head when I was about to loose mine. It would be an honour to work with Ashley in the future, and I truly believe she deserves a promotion!!!!!! Thanks Ashley and all the great staff who helped during our awards ceremony/gala. Cheers.
