Great location/Great Stay This was a cute and great location for our time in the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area! The location was a great sport that was close enough to the Port but far enough to not feel overcrowded. We were greeted with cookies and hot cocoa being offered. The staff was friendly and was willing to help navigate the Port area with parking, dinning, and other activities. The staff was upfront that this is an older Inn and that to be aware of some things (noises, showers taking awhile to warm up). The noises were rather loud at times, but the rooms were put together nicely and offered space for everyone in our party.

Great Hotel, Great Staff We spent the weekend at the hotel with two other couples. It is a lovely hotel with rocking chairs on the front porch, a bar (and restaurant), and a quiet back patio. The location is great and we were able to talk to a few breakfast spots as well as a great restaurant across the street. The hotel had cookies in the afternoon, but the big hit was sipping a drink on the front porch. I want to call our the staff who were lovely and very accommodating. My only ask would be to 'upscale' the mattress and pillows.

Charming stay. Great old charming place to stay. We enjoy our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location within walking distance to coffee, shops, and restaurants. Reminds me of exactly what you think of when you think of Maine. Clean and spacious.

Great stay, great staff, great location. We loved our stay. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the range of previous reviews. But as we were booking a very last minute trip to the area the week of 4th of July, I was happy to find a reasonable accommodation. I rate hotels/inns on a variety of factors, with customer service and hospitality being even more important than ever. All I will say is everyone we met at the Kennebunk Inn was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We learned that the Inn has had new owners in the last year or so. We stayed in room 17, a King Suite, and you could tell it had been freshly painted and tended to. Everything was clean and tidy. They've added two new ADA-compliant guest rooms to the ground floor that were just opening the weekend we were there. The restaurant is going through a make over and while the menu is limited --we opted to eat there twice because everything they do make was delicious and Adrian, the bartender and chef, takes great pride in the dishes. We loved the little main street area that had just enough to walk to and see, particularly a farmers market and artisan market on Saturdays in the summer. You are a 10 min drive to Kennebunkport and if you are traveling with dogs, this is the place to stay. Also, area Kennebunk beaches are dog friendly before 8am and after 5pm all year round. Now, if you don't like old buildings (or dogs) this is not for you. There are funky layouts due to the age and adapting to modern amenities. You are not getting a spa bathroom, but you are getting a perfectly fine average bath. What you will get is a friendly, dog friendly inn that is close to lots to do in coastal Maine. This is a great home base to work from. For those that are sensitive to noise -there are pickleball courts next door that we really couldn't hear much because of the window ACs. But if you are concerned about noise-- call the inn directly to discuss the best available room location for your stay.

Time to Enjoy the Inn for a Bite and a Beverage! So happy the Inn is open for business again! We are locals and have been watching the Inn do updates and a lovely transformation. The new owners have added some beautiful new rooms on the first floor which are so nice! The pub is quaint and has a tasty local menu. Open for lunch and all afternoon through dinner. We had amazing haddock chowder today! Adrien, the cook and bartender, made us delightful drinks which we enjoyed on their outdoor patio. It gets sun from noon to 6pm! We added on nachos with homemade corn chips and fresh pico. They were layered , so no chip was bare, but they were delicately done with the cheese plentiful but not globbed on! So perfect ! We savored every bite! So glad the Inn is open again! You won’t be disappointed with the pub fare and we might just have to get a room just for tbe fun of staying in town one night!
