Wonderful place to stay- call ahead if you need a room with elevator access. This is a wonderful, clean hotel in the heart of downtown Ketchikan. No need for a car you can walk everywhere and they provide a shuttle to the airport. Kind staff who out of their way to help you with luggage and ensuring that you have a wonderful time. The rooms are decorated like you are staying in a home guest room with heated floors in the bathrooms and a soaking tub! I was here on work and was able to explore Ketchikan during the evening hours. Will stay again.

Great place We stayed in the Bayview building with a lovely view of the creek and the bay. From our room, we watched the creek go up and down with the tide, watched a sea lion swim around and saw multiple bald eagles fly by. It was wonderful. The hotel is in the middle of the city. Everything is within walking distance. Plus, the city bus is a great way to get around. The cruise ships haven’t started up yet. So we had the town to ourselves. We took a kayaking tour and ended up being the only ones touring. The hotel staff was awesome with loads of great suggestions.

Fantastic stay at The Wharf We rented The Wharf, which is a detached property from the Inn at Creek Street building. The Wharf is a two bedroom apartment with extra couches that fold out. There were only two of us, but The Wharf allowed us to really relax with a full kitchen, huge shower and bathroom, and two different sitting areas plus kitchen table. There is a laundry room downstairs that we could use for free, which was really nice. They provided ear plugs because The Wharf is right next to the Potlatch, a favorite local bar, but the sound really didn't bother us. The staff at the Inn was really accommodating. They picked us up from and dropped us off at the ferry, which is a couple of miles away. They also dropped us off at the grocery and brought us back our first day there while they were running other guests to various locations. They lent us a book of hiking trails and then dropped us off at one. The staff was truly fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

The Preachers House We stayed at the Preachers House, which is a part of the Inn at Creek Street, in June 2021. We were traveling with our four daughters. It was the perfect little house for a family. The rooms were cozy and inviting. There are games, books, and two TVs, not to mention a full kitchen. It rained a lot during our trip, so I’m glad we had such a fun house to rent because we were inside more than we planned. It’s located right next to several walking trail, shops, and restaurants. It really was the perfect place for us.

Tripadvisor/ Goldstrike #2 It was a positive user experience using the 5 star reviews listed on TripAdvisor. My first find was Chick Charters for fishing. A fishing experience that all of us could enjoy and truly fit our needs as she only books private trips, so you’ll always have the boat to yourself. The 38 foot sport fishing boat is clean and comfortable and has a bathroom. All of this valuable information was provided by TripAdvisor and her web site. She also spoke about places to stay that were within walking distance of her dock. I again went on TripAdvisor for 5 star information on places to stay. After reading and making many calls, I found the perfect fit for our party. The Inn at the Creek was a perfect fit and was within walking distance of Chick Charters and close to many 5 star restaurants. Using my call plan, I again made calls to the Inn at Creek Street. Sarah, Faith and Austin were absolutely wonderful and were just like Captain Sandra, took all my questions and were very thorough and detailed as far as restaurant and things to do within walking distance. The Inn at Creek Street also provides a shuttle. I plan to complete my research on things to do by using TripAdvisor and reschering all 5 star restaurants with walking distance. My most sincere thanks to all of those who have written reviews on so many options of things to do in Ketchikan AK. Was able to complete a full day of to-do, for the complete week, all within walking distance
