Excellent Experience I booked a four night, extended weekend trip for my family of 4 (husband and two older teens) for early August 2024. Because we didn't intent to spend a lot of time in the room, I booked a double queen room with an ocean view/lanai. Imagine our delight when we were upgraded upon arrival to an Ocean View 2 bedroom loft! The loft was newly renovated, spacious, and beautiful. In fact, our entire experience was excellent. Most staff were good, with some extraordinary. We had a few questions and requests during our stay that were all expeditiously handled via text. As far as the amenities, the separate family and adult pools was a nice bonus. We ate breakfast once but used their poolside and casual outside dining for lunch a few times and then ate dinner off-property. We received two different daily credits totaling about $80+ each day which could be used at the on-property restaurants and shop/market. One credit was due to my Hilton Honors Diamond status. Another benefit was there was an excursion service on property (Barefoot Billy's) we booked two activities (waverunner guided tour for 2 hours and a 4 hour private boat tour.) Each guide was excellent, amiable and well-trained staff. I very highly recommend Casa Marina!

No go Disappointing. My expectations may have been to high. Staff couldn’t have been less friendly, like I was staying at a Hampton Inn. Room was so so, good view of the ocean. Had an issue with the neighbors the first night with TV volume at 1:15am. Called down to front desk and got no response. Took housekeeping five hours to finally get to my room. For 300k Hilton points, not worth it. Here until Thursday, hope it improves

Beautiful hotel grounds First off let me say I cannot complain about a free night. The staff were kind and helpful! The room was big and the bed and pillows comfortable. The partial ocean view not worth the extra money or points. The hotel was beautiful. Bathroom small but understandable due to the age of the hotel. The beach was nice but I would not go in it. We enjoyed the adult only pool! Nice stay. Would I pay that price ? Hmm I don’t know I am frugal so this was a nice treat.

Great place, here is some perspective... So, after reading the reviews here before our trip to the hotel we were extremely wary of the deficiencies of the place (lots of complaining with poor grammar). The complaints were ringing in our ears coming in. As a reference point, I travel a TON for work and because of my business I get to stay in some of the nicest hotels in the country (Four Seasons, Peninsula, Ritz Carlton, etc) not bragging here but giving you a sense of where I'm coming from. If you're expecting this level of hotel, you're not gonna get it and you really shouldn't expect it in Key West anyways. That said, the hotel's ambiance is wonderful, our experience with almost every staff member was great, the bar was great with fun and chatty bar tenders, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great. We never experienced poor service anywhere. We stayed in a King room with a Lanai on the first floor which was in my opinion a 3/5 stars. It got the job done, but we weren't tempted to spend any more time there than we really needed to. The bathroom was good, it served its purpose. The whole room was clean and maintained well throughout our stay. I will say that the staff members who maintain the room could be more joyful...I know that sounds pretty snobby, but there was no responses to "good mornings" from us and for the most part they just stared at their phones until you left your room... The pools are fine, they have 2 so you can enjoy a kid-free experience or take your little ones to a pool where all of the others are for a good time, but these are relatively standard pools and I would not say that they are 5 star quality, I'd give them a 2/5, but they're well maintained. They have corn hole, a mini soccer field by the beach which was cool but the turf was like 200 degrees which is probably why we never saw any kids on it, a great effort but not ideal conditions. Concierge services were great and helpful, we did a couple of their excursions and had a blast on both. We did the Double Dipper Snorkeling Trip and the Sunset Wine Charter, both were great. My wife got a pre-natal massage at the spa and would give the staff and the experience 5-Stars, the gym is a 4/5 and got the job done, everything is clean, and they have plenty of equipment to choose from, plenty there to work with. The beach is a 4/5. The best part of the resort in our opinion, we got chairs a couple of the days and one day even rented one of their nicer lounge chaise things which came with drinks and fruit. That was great. We really enjoyed that experience, also met some fun couples to chat with. This was our first time in Key West, so we didn't understand the "location" perks to this resort until we got there, but for our preferences this place is perfect. Far enough from the crazy but close enough to walk to when it's time for that. The breakfast buffet was good (4/5), but there are lots of great brunch spots around Key West too. The Shop / Cafe is a 5/5, everything you'd need. All in all, I would say tame your 5-Star expectations of this place and you'll be able to comfortably enjoy the many great parts of it...from what we were able to see from walking around and comparing our place to others...Casa Marina is one of the best places to stay in Key West. Like I said, if you're hoping for a Four Seasons, go to Miami...you're not finding it in Key West, but this place is the closest you'll get and its damn good enough.

Very Upscale / Beautiful inside and out / Minor deficiencies This is a very posh hotel. Everything is top notch with a bit of rustic, old Florida appeal. Unlike most other hotels, they do have a sand beach you can enjoy along with two pools (one adults only, the other for families). There is both an outdoor bar and poolside service for drinks and food. There is a nice restaurant on the property that service breakfast and dinner. Be prepared to pay more than what you would at a local restaurant. The rooms were very well appointed, the mattress and pillows were just right for a perfect nights sleep. All were nicely decorated and clean. My only complaint about the room was there was no microwave. Bringing home leftovers from dinner had to be eaten cold the next day. My two biggest letdowns were the hotel does not have self lauders service. If you need your clothes washed, you cannot do it here yourself but they will do them for you for a price. I ended up going to a local laundromat just up the road and saved myself some money. The other was the maid service. We were there for three days. After day one, the cleaning staff made the beds and removed the used towels. They did not replace any of the towels, K-pods or cups for the in-room coffee maker. I did say something to the front desk and they apologized. I appreciated that but expected more from an upscale hotel.
