Great location, great patio/pool, great staff - the rooms not so much This place is very well located (5 blocks off the main drag Duval Street), has a lovely pool and patio area, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Right across the street is a stop for the Duval Loop Shuttle that goes around the Old Town area. But... We booked Eden House for 6 nights. For $360 a night one would expect some normal room amenities like a bathroom, a closet or armoire, maybe a chest of drawers, a bedside lamp. My room was completely devoid of any of these amenities, although it did have a mini-fridge and a microwave. There was a sink in the middle of the room, a toilet in a separate little room and a shower stall; the walls were bare. It was impossible to unpack as there was no place to put anything. No bedside lamp (one was eventually found by the second day). And the foot of the bed was about 15 inches from the wall so one had to scoot sideways to get around it. In Europe this would be a 1-star hotel room costing $60/night. There was absolutely no resemblance to the pictures on the website. One of my friends rooms was similar, my other friend had a larger room with a bathroom and a rack with hangers for clothes. We all paid the same price for the rooms. And so, I would caution folks to find out exactly what their room would be like - I was in room 109 and my friend was in the similar 107. I would stay there again but not in these rooms.

Our best intro to Key West We stayed for 2 nights. Wish it was longer. We were in room 501, right on the pool deck. Room was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Two ceiling fans and the “Key West”paneling gave the room great vibes. The front desk was very helpful with local tips and storing our luggage both coming and going. Mindy, the pool bartender, was a delight. Personable and fun with great local knowledge. We are already talking about coming back.

Reservations What a bummer. My friend and I really wanted to stay here in January 2025. I tried to book a one bedroom suite with a connecting room. We wanted to share a living room and kitchen area and some outdoor space but have privacy in our own bedrooms so connecting rooms seemed like a great solution. When I called to make the reservation the person taking the reservation was unaware that there were any connecting rooms. I then called the front desk and she confirmed yes they do have connecting rooms however they don’t guarantee any rooms including that the rooms would be connecting . According to the website, there’s plenty availability for the dates I was looking for and the one bedroom suite and the porch swing room were perfect for our needs . Despite wanting to reserve several months in advance of our trip II was surprised that they wouldn’t guarantee the connecting rooms. I chose not to book because of this. Perhaps management should reconsider this policy of not guaranteeing connecting rooms.

Charming historic hotel Stayed at Eden House for 3 nights in April 2024 and thought it was a great hotel worth the $. I loved that they had a spot to lock up your luggage in case you arrive extra early, like we did, and then had a late flight home that was delayed several times. We lounged by the pool and had a relaxing time waiting. The rooms are small, but the bed is comfy and the shower was decent (though some of our friends did complain of poor water pressure, ours was fine). I would definitely stay here again, especially since it's so centrally located and walkable. Also, Azur next door was one of the best meals I had on my trip.
