Pleasant, Covenient Accommodations Robin and Stephen create a welcoming atmosphere to a truly classic roadside motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with simple, old school decor. Breakfast and homemade goodies are served with a smile and the fresh roasted coffee is excellent.

Quaint, spacious and comfy I gave this motel a 4 rating due to spaciousness, quaintness, cleanliness and comfort. We usually stay in chain hotels, so have certain standard expectations. But with motels, you get to park right outside your room, and share continental breakfast and other shared amenities (pool, gazebo) with much fewer guests. There is also charm and quaintness not realized with chains. For example, our bathroom fixtures had to date back to sixties or seventies, but it was clean. Then we had the modern wifi and high def tv with lots of channels. Plenty of space (we had the queen plus couch). But the best feature had to be the windows that opened, even in the bathroom! When we arrived, the room smelled fresh and clean, partly due to the fresh air from outside! And plenty of fresh roasted coffee throughout the day, and the owners seemed very vested in their establishment.

Great Value!! Not many of these places left!! Great value for the $$$ . Step back in time (The 70s) when rooms were there to sleep and were basic and affordable. Excellent breakfast in the lobby is included each morning with the owner making pancakes and cutting fresh fruit by hand. Hard to beat this when heading to the slopes for the day.

Comfortable, clean, convenient Curb appeal, no. Solid, comfortable lodgings, yes. Our room (1 queen) had plenty of space to move around. Furniture included a full-size couch, two comfy chairs, and a reasonable table. I found myself thinking about my grandmother — she had dressers like these, and the tile in the bathroom is straight out of the ‘50s. (I happen to love that tile!) Most important: Would I be okay staying several nights? Yes. Comfortable, clean, convenient.
