Play and stay is not as advertised and restaurant is not open! Not satisfied at all! Be cautious of advertised play and stay. We did not get 3 courses as we were told they were booked but looking online found there were open times. We ended up paying full price for room and 2 courses that were booked. Were told on-site restaurant was open but on arrival found out not open during week so we had to go into town which was an inconvenience. No room cleaning service during week. Room was average and deck was nice but didn’t compensate for the poor communication and arranging of courses to be played. And not having on-site restaurant was not acceptable but could not cancel as were not aware until we arrived.

Will be back next year! I stayed at the hotel during the 5th Annual WCIC event and had a great time. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The facility is also well taken care of. Enjoyed my time in the pool and hanging out with new and existing friends during dinner or having drinks.

Welcoming, professional and comfortable Staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Inside and out side of premises are clean and tidy. When I booked, I requested the 4th floor, one bedroom suite overlooking the front and that's exactly what I received. It had a balcony with two chairs and a small table. It also came with a kitchen (with utensils, dish and cook wear) , living room, fireplace, full bathroom, pull out sofa and primary bed room with sink and mirror. The bed was extremely comfortable, not too hard and not too soft. Plenty of comfortable pillows to sleep with. There was not a daily cleaning service though you could request. Room has windows with screens so you can open and let fresh air inside. The room also had air conditioning and heat. The pool and hot tub areas are nice with plenty of seating/chairs. Change rooms are clean and tidy with ample towels. The front of the hotel faces the morning sun and the back is the sun set. Lots of open parking outside and parking is also available inside. I enjoyed three dinners at the restaurant, (also has bar with TV 's) each time trying something different. The staff were friendly and the food was quite good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge and the lodge also has an elevator. At night the area was quiet so I had good sleeps Yes, I would stay here again.

Elevators broken and staff has no empathy for disabled daughter… I will start off by saying when we stayed here in November it was a nice visit and that is why we returned. However this time was quite the opposite experience. We arrived giving ourselves 2-3 hours before their restaurant and pool would be closing but when we arrived the line to check in was backed up. They were having issues with the key cards and so check in took a long time. 30+ minutes. When it was finally our turn we were told that the elevators were broken and had been since the previous morning. When I heard that I asked why they didn’t think to notify their customers of this potential issue given our adult daughter is disabled and we didn’t pack expecting to haul up multiple flights of stairs. I clearly wasn’t happy but I wasn’t rude or disrespectful. The lady working the front desk was not apologetic in the least and snapped at me “did I want to find another hotel instead” I was so shocked at how rude this staff was that I didn’t even know what to say. So we proceeded to now waste another hour of our time hauling about 5 trips worth of stuff up the stairs while our daughters waited excitedly to swim. At this point we were exhausted, sweaty and had wasted most of our evening on check in and hauling loads of heavy suitcases. So I rush to take my youngest daughter to the pool while my older daughters take our dog to pee. When they return and are walking towards the stairs again the same rude lady working the front desk snaps at them that dogs are not allowed at the pool. Why would she think we were taking our dog to the pool? Pugs can’t even swim!! My daughters and I got about 30 minutes in the pool before the same lady arrived at EXACTLY 9 pm to kick us out of the pool. It was just so unbelievable that after the completely awful unrelaxing evening we had had due to their issues they wouldn’t even give us an extra few minutes to swim. We have stayed at many places on our annual road trips but not sure we have ever dealt with someone as rude and lacking basically any empathy. A waste of $448. Could of done manual labour at home and had a better time.

Excellent Hotel Full of olde world charm with the modern niceties people have grown to expect lately. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and included a fridge/freezer, 4 ring electric hob, big oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. A full set of crockery and cutlery completed the ensemble for self-catering, something we didn’t need as the meals in the bar were exceptionally well priced. Well done Trickle Creek Lodge for making our stay so good.
