A dump The hotel is outdated and very dirty. We found trash behind the beds and they have a stench of cigarette smoke. Please just pay extra to go somewhere else because when you complain they do nothing at all! Worst hotel ever next to a amazing amusement park. By the way whatever you do don't eat at the breakfast buffet it is very cold and gross! Sorry to come of rude but this is how I feel about this hotel

DONT GO. i had stayed the night here with my family and it was probably the worst experience ive ever had even though im a teen. But please still take my advice! so it began with check in. No one else was there but we had to wait a long time because she was on the phone. then we got to the room. it was okay. but it just had the feeling of i feel nasty. But then we found it. MOLD all over the bathroom ceiling. it was already late so we just stayed. so we decided to get out of the rom and swim. BAD CHOICE. there apparently a party going on and there was kids running around everywhere and so we left but then came back. the pool was dirty so i only go in for maybe 5 minutes. and during that 5 minuets some older teens came in and started swimming in their underwear. that was so disgusting. so we obviously left and went to bed and the morning we woke up by little sister couldn't open her eyes bc of the eye bogers she had from the mold. plus she has asthma which didn't make anything better. we obviously complain b4 we left but it was obvious they didn't care. they offered us discounted stays and that was obvious we didn't not want to stay there another minute.

Would get 4 stars with some updating We've stayed with our baseball team 3 times at the Kings Island resort and always had a good experience. The one year the indoor pool was closed while being renovated, but the outdoor pool, basketball court and volleyball court served its purpose. The problem with the resort is that the rooms are in desperate need of updating. One of our moms had a room with a dog-sized rat running around (they moved her eventually) and I had a cleaning person walk in on me while I was in my birthday suit without even saying "housekeeping" or anything of the sort. The carpet is old and the rooms are kind of dingy. I did find the bed comfortable each time and the location across from the park and right around the corner from the food places served us well with 12-14 boys of ages 13, 14 and 16 (in the years we went). I would still stay here again with my team, but probably not on a trip by myself or with a smaller group. I hope they do some renovations in future years so my next generation of boys (which will be starting in the next year or two) can have a great experience there as well.

not a place to stay The hotel is out of date ran down. U got to pay for breakfast that u get for free at other places and the other places have better breackfast too. The money was more expensive than other places near by. Will not go again. I thought it would be ok because the shuttle runs all day and night for free but paying for breackfast that I can get free at other places I can then use for parking

Not Worth The Money Where to even begin. We had no wash rags and when asking for some at the office they told us that they didn't have any to give out sorry. Like seriously what type of hotel have no wash rags. We found old boxes of moldy food under the bed. Beds had no fitted sheets on them. When going to take a shower there was no warm water at all. The indoor pool area smelt awful like mold. I was expecting maybe even just a little bit of a chlorine smell but none. You could tell when walking down the hallways where wet towels were left and the carpet was moldy and stained. Overall it was gross and just wasn't a great experience for the price we paid. We could have gone somewhere cheaper and had a better outcome. I would have rather slept in my car. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
