You can’t go wrong at this location Aziza! She is so cool and super friendly and knowledgeable, and just eager to please and engaging and present and an absolute star representative for your company! Hotel is located in a good spot with a lot of scenic greenery around and right by the road that leads to the highway to get to wherever you need to go. the room was clean and smelled good and my bed was so comfy! And let’s not even talk about their breakfast absolutely the best in the industry

No Hot Water I get a call the morning of my check in telling me there is no hot water and it won’t be fixed anytime soon. Since I booked with Expedia I immediately cancel and book a different hotel. Expedia won’t refund because the hotel manager won’t confirm the hot water issue. I’m now out $350.

Stay was Cancelled We made a non-refundable reservation to stay here. We were on a multi-leg vacation, and as it turned out, we would have changed the timing on our trip due to a combination of weather and a family health crisis at home. However, since we'd gone with the non-refundable reservation, we decided we needed to stick to the original trip versus losing the cost of the room. Around noon on the day before our stay, we received an email to check-in. The hotel then called around 3 PM to say that our stay was canceled due to a gas leak. We missed this call because T-Mobile determined the caller ID of "Insight Services" and the attached 1-800 number was spam. (Why Holiday Inn is using "Insight Services" as it's caller ID versus something more specific is beyond me. Also why the hotel did not call from it's local number was also confusing.) T-Mobile also marked the voicemail as spam. The only reason we knew our stay was canceled was because I happened to check email before going to bed and saw that our stay was canceled. Otherwise, we would have shown up at the hotel just to be turned away. So we had to delay getting on the road the next morning and scramble to find another hotel. Without much time to do research, we ended up staying at the Hampton Inn in Gastonia, which put us a couple of exits further away from where we intended to go and from home. The stay there also cost more than our original reservation did at this hotel. I understand things happen, but I'm leaving a 1-star review because if something had happened on OUR end regardless of whether we could control it or not, the hotel would have cheerfully and gladly charged us for the night anyway as it was non-refundable. That seems like a pretty unfair policy and like we should have been compensated some way -- if it's a non-refundable reservation BOTH the hotel and the traveler should bear the burden if something happens based on who cancels.

Excellent stay Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well-appointed, comfortable room. Tasty breakfast includes hot food. Only drawback is that the highway noise comes in some rooms. We were easily able to compensate with white noise from cellphone settings overnight.

Great stay! The staff was friendly and check in and check out was fast and painless. Great location right off the interstate. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast with healthy options. Will be back. Appreciate the acknowledgment of being a club member and the treat bag, very nice welcome touch.
