Motel 6 Kingsport, TN

Much better than expected for a Motel 6! Property IS older, however it has been updated. Our rooms (multiple stays) always had: •USB charging ports in every outlet except the bathroom • A major brand name TV with plenty of choices • A modern, efficient, quiet AC/heat unit • Clean comfortable beds with plenty of pillows • More than enough bath linens that were soft and clean • Clean and modern refrigerator and microwave. • Accessible shower/tub/toilet as listed. • Good water temperature and pressure. All of the staff are friendly without being overbearing. Rebecca went above and beyond to make sure we had accessible parking with our late arrival, and was some super kind and helpful! The overnight clerk was also very helpful (I cannot recall her name). There was an issue with the handicap shower chair on the first day, I mentioned it to Ronda (I think), when we returned,it had been replaced with a brand new one! I witnessed an exchange between Ronda and a member of management that concerned an issue of some sort that management was unhappy about... The exchange was professional, quiet and respectful! good stay Good stay here . The desk man Steve did a wonderful job during our stay. He was very helpful and informative. The room was very clean and was very quite. The bed was hard but it was acceptable water was hot with good pressure. .The motel is located close to quite a few eating places . Overall it was a good stay. We would stay here again.

Husband having surgery Booked our room on Expedia. Read the reviews, very good reviews. Front desk lady was extremely nice, check in was easy. Lobby was very nice and smelled really good. People were standing on Val not drinking, cooking in their rooms. Apparently they live here. Finally got to our cold dark room. It was like a freezer when you stepped in, no carpet, floor had vinyl flooring. Beds were a mattress thrower on top of a board and hard as a brick. Beer bottle lid on luggage rack. Tub/shower needed lots of work. Did not feel comfortable so we canceled our stay and went to comfort inn suites. Very good choice for $20.00 more.

Stopped by with my dogs I was happy that this hotel allowed dogs and did not charge extra for their visit. Hotel room was bare bones. The room look like either a prison cell or a room from a psychiatric unit. I'm not sure but I think the furniture is screwed to the walls so you don't throw it. Shower worked so that was good. No coffee in the room or coffee available. Check in was fine. No frills. People live at this motel.

Great place to stay! If you are looking for a clean, cheap hotel Motel 6 is the place to stay! There is not coffee pot in the room, although they have hot coffee in the lobby. Our room was very clean and comfortable! The staff was great! Everything we expected and we will stay here again
