Need to upgrade Ived been to this resort a couple of times. Now they turn this to apartment complex. Dunno why RCI included this resort to their list. Waste of points booking in this place.,Needs to upgrade all rooms and the service. Very disappointed with the service. It takes 24 hours to have someone to assist you when you needed something (,towels request).

Virtual Check in Nightmare Virtual check in is a joke! We never received the email to get into unit. We were on premises for close to 2 hours trying to get a live person to talk to so we could get the code to enter property. The checkin building was locked and looked abandoned. We actually left to kill time and hours later Festiva called back with a code to unlock the unit. RCI dismissed us since it was booked through Festiva which apparently is an air b and b. This was NOT listed as such on RCI when I booked through them. We never got Bluetooth access for the room door so between 6 of us we had to share ONE metal key. AWFUL! Our coffee pot was broken on day one and we left 4 messages to try and exchange, no phone call back ever. The unit was large enough to sleep 8 people and there was only ONE small frypan to cook and a pasta pot. Ridiculous! I had to scramble 2 eggs at a time for breakfast to feed us. I would absolutely NEVER stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here either. You are left completely on your own if there are any issues. We came down for a family funeral and spent 5 of the 7 days there, even changed our airline tickets to come back home early. Only positive was that the Unit was clean and large. Needs hands on management.

Short visit to Orlando for Niece's performance as Dorothy in the Wiz. I really didn't care for the virtual check-in process. I had a feeling the opening of the door using a cell phone would be a problem and it indeed was. The operator on the phone provided me with a code to unlock the door on the keypad and that didn't work either. Thank goodness there was an actual key located within the lock box next to the door. I was at the resort for a short stay (2 nights), and the stressful check-in process ruined everything for me. Once I finally relaxed and unpacked, I noticed that there were no instructions regarding how to access the internet so I could unwind and watch TV on my Tablet. Unfortunately, this was after 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night and I couldn't reach anyone by telephone until well after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to get the internet access code for the resort. Since everything is done remotely, it would have been nice to include that information in the email regarding the check-in process and the request for the $100.00 credit card deposit. Lastly, around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night, I planned to iron my clothes for the Sunday affair I was in FL to attend, only to discover there was no ironing board in the unit. Of course, the time was well after 7:00 p.m. Saturday night, but I sent a text message to the number I'd received earlier in the day inquiring about my satisfaction of the stay thus far, to advise that the ironing board was missing from the unit. I received a reply message stating that housekeeping would provide me with an ironing board. Of course, no one from housekeeping came by that night, so I looked outside my door at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning but still no ironing board. As I was preparing to check-out, I opened the door at 9:30 to discover the ironing board next to the door. To my knowledge, no one knocked on the door. At this point, I was in the process of transporting my belongings to the car for the 10:00 a.m. checkout. The resort and unit were very nice but if I must go through this check-in process again, I will not be returning to Festiva Orlando.

Could not enter! I was set to check in on July 21 - July 23 with an RCI stay. I called, as it suggested as I knew I would be in late. The details of how to proceed were straightforward, if arriving after 10:30 pm you will retrieve a key from a lock box. What they did not share though was the total disaster this would become. We spent 45 minutes pushing the call button and spamming calls on the phone before having anyone answer. Upon answering we were given several different codes that "might work" but the individual was not sure which box so suggested just trying them in all of them. When this did not work after we had spent over an hour trying to check-in to no avail he suggested coming back in the morning at 9 am once some one was on shift because there was nothing he could do. That's right, with a reservation we were told we could not get in until the next morning at 9 am. Absolutely worst service we've had in a stay ever. Find somewhere else or you will be doing so at midnight on the night of your arrival, ya know or just wait 9 hours in the parking lot for someone to help you the next day?!

Comfortable and affordable The amenities are really good, excellent location close to the gas station and Walmart. For us was a super plus the laundromat, the kitchen perfect, enough space inside the room for the occupants, however we reserve for 4 people and was just a queen bed and sofa.
