Nayara Gardens

One of the best in Costa Rica and probably all of Latin America Nayara Resorts is truly a 5-Star resort. From checking in to checking out the entire process and stay was superb and will make you feel special. A truly unique, luxurious experience. I would recommend for everyone, at least once in their lifetime to experience the treatment you will receive here. The check-in process was not a chore but quite enjoyable. Sitting on comfy chairs at a table with a delicious Costa Rican drink as all the amenities of the resort was explained in detail. We were even offered an upgrade from a casita to a villa. From check-in we were driven to our standalone room and all the room amenities, features and functionalities were explained. Everyone spoke beautiful English and friendly and happy to take their time with us. They took time to learn our names and our interests and made suggestions that the resort had which would pique our interests. The resort grounds was absolutely stunning, clean, curated, and made us feel like we were in the rainforest. Each room is super private and our own pool that is also private. An indoor and outdoor shower, not many people can say they can shower outdoors in peace and quiet. Over the course of our stay, they tried to learn our names and ask us about certain activities we took up and how we liked it and if we needed anything to make our stay more special. They would provide recommendations to local restaurant in the nearby town they enjoyed. On the last day they gave us a small going away present of stuff sloth bear. Truly, truly, truly a remarkably place with amazing people.

Absolutely perfect! Nayara Gardens isn’t just a vacation, it’s an experience. The staff, the property, the food on the resort is absolutely amazing! I visited with my adult daughter for my 45th birthday and the staff made sure to make me feel special. We have traveled many places all over the world and we both agree that this is the best resort we have ever visited. Thank you to all of the staff at Nayara — you are all amazing!

Best Resort! We loved this resort! It was the nicest place we've ever stayed. We had a Rainforest Pool Villa, and the tropical plants outside the deck made us feel like we were all alone. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor shower. We never showered inside. We loved getting up in the morning and having coffee in the plunge pool. They provide snacks in the room along with coffee, beer, juice, sparkling water and cola. The resort has many restaurants/bars. The breakfast was very good. We loved the fresh tropical fruit each morning. Although the restaurants and bars are pricey, we realized we were paying for the experience. We did the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings at Amor Loco, and it was excellent! Again, pricey, but it was an outstanding experience. The property is gorgeous with wonderful thermal spas. It's hilly, so we got our exercise, but they will also drive you around in a golf cart if the hills are an issue. We did several excursions with Jacamar tours, so we really didn't take advantage of the resort's activities. They offer guided walks, yoga, and night walks. I would love to go back, and when we do, we may just stay on the resort and take advantage of all they offer.

Nayara is the Best Resort This was our second trip as a couple to Nayara in the past two years. Nayara is amazing and by far the best resort we've ever experienced. The landscaping is meticulous and beautiful, wide variety of wildlife including sloths and toucans, and the best staff anywhere (when you return 2 years later and you recognize staff, you know they are happy and cared for by management). We love Nayara and will be back again!
