Like staying with relatives Like staying with family. Ann Marie and staff greet you when you come and go and provide a clean and safe home away from home. I stay here for sometimes a few days and sometimes a couple of weeks . Walking distance to beach , shops , restaurants . Thank you!

Inn by the Sea is a winner in La Jolla, CA. The Inn by the Sea in La Jolla is an older hotel. It has beach charm, and I can recommend it easily. The staff are friendly and truly know what customer service is all about. They were excellent. The hotel is 1 1/2 blocks to the beach and is located in an area where there are many restaurants and bars. Although being close to nightlife, it is quiet at night. The rooms are large and clean and come with a small frig. Beds are comfortable. So, if you are looking for an excellent budget friendly hotel, pick this one. You will not regret it. Mike Burns

Great stay; friendly staff Great location! Inn by the Sea is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The pool is heated pool and there is a complimentary 24/7 coffee and hot beverage area near the pool. Elizabeth checked us in and let us know that she grew up in the area if we needed any recommendations. We were here for a wedding and actually, with the managers permission, were able to leave all of the wedding flower arrangements behind for the staff to take home. ;). Thank you for a wonderful stay! Superior Service We stayed at the hotel for six nights for my son's wedding. Our group took up half of the hotel, and all our guests agreed it was a great stay. It's in a great location, and the rooms are clean. But most of all, it's the service we appreciated most. Anne Marie and the staff were incredible, assisting us with so many details. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Great hotel Beautiful hotel in La Jolla just minutes from the ocean front. Rooms and clear, spacious and well appointed, ours didn’t have a safe though, which is pretty standard now in all hotel rooms. There’s no restaurant on site, but you can order in breakfast and they have discount vouchers you can use at local restaurants. Parking is available for an additional fee. Definitely a great spot to explore La Jolla.
