Nice 1 bedroom suite. Overall ok Upon driving up, i was nervous. Did ingo back to the 80s? Outside of tower js rubbish. Early checkin via the app was great. Upgraded to a one bedroom suite with my Diamond Status also great. Only 2 elevators and one being remodeled. One is circa 1986. Everyone on 11 floors stuck using one old elevator. Stinks. Outside corridor, lipstick paint job on exterior was also worrisome. After digital key didn't work, back downstairs. Waited for elevator probably 10 mins too. Got a physical key. Waited again. Upon entering the room was surprising. Inside is 2024. Operate half bath full counter bar with Nespresso and huge sink and counter with empty shelves. Fridge too. Loaded fridge and turned on ac and relaxed. Went for lunch on 11th floor and it too was terrific and looked relatively new. Laila was the hostess and bartender. Super friendly. Ordered and was happy with the meal. Went back after waiting for the elevator a long time to change for the beach. A 7 min walk and I was on the sand. Returned about 9 and the room was hot. Went to grab a drink and the fridge was off. 55 degrees it said. Called down to front desk. 4 times. No answer. Text in the app. No response. I found a second thermostat for the bedroom behind the door and it popped on cool. Called again and this time they answered and quickly sent a tech. Ended up replacing the fridge. Said the 1 ac can't handle both rooms. A few hours later it was at 72. Could never get it lower over 3 days. Did have 3 balconies so that helped. After the tech left went up to 11th floor restaurant and they close at 9. Boo. Breakfast each morning was great. Elevator issues continue so I just took the stairs. Tried to connect Firestick. No internet. 3 days. Had to Hotspot. Two mornings, despite do not disturb. About 930 knock on door. Housekeeping.... annoying. No real place to grab snacks downstairs. Sorry shelving on a wall displaying what little they have and someone has to go in back and get it. Just walk next door to Shell with a big mini mart. Overall nice place, with issues.

A++ This hotel is AMAZING! I had stayed before and this time they had finished their renovations. The rooms are great and we had a lot of fun at the pool relaxing. Just a short walk to La Jolla Shores and the beach. The best part about it is the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming! Edlyn at the front desk made us feel like we were always her favorite people!

Trapped in dirty old hotel, in an ADA room Terrible Location in an extremely loud part of town. This is a rundown old hotel that they have done a minor renovation on. This hotel did something that I always find incredibly offensive, which is they stuck me in an ADA room without asking if this kind of room was acceptable to me. I did not pay to be in this style of room, and I find it extremely offensive that they cannot find a normal room to put me into, that is not an ADA room. You need to inform guest if you were going to put them in bizarre rooms.
