Lakeside stay Stayed in the West Beach building for a weekend convention. Nice large room with small table and 2 chairs, oversized mini fridge, coffee maker. No hairdryer which is unusual for most hotels. Lounge areas very comfortable. Restaurant closed, even for breakfast which was unfortunate, since there was a large group present.. Pool and hot tub nice. Overall would definitely stay again.

Good hotel, shame no food. We stayed as part of a Titan tour group. Our room (419) was magnificent! Very large and spacious with views over the lake and beach. Our room included a large lounge area with settee and armchairs with coffee tables. We had a large bathroom where all worked very well. Lovely large comfy beds. A fridge is provided in the room and a microwave was available in the bar area, near to this is a nice lounge with a complimentary tea/coffee machine available anytime. The only downside of the room was that the walls were very thin so there was a lot of noise from the corridor. The hotel has a nice outdoor and indoor pool although the indoor one was tiny, no good to swim but ok to relax in. There is also a gems room but this was not available to us as we were "out of season" - it was September with everyone visiting the fall and coaches like ours arriving so why out of season? For the same reason although there is a full restaurant and bar on site it was closed for us. Breakfast was available at a nearby diner, there is also a good supermarket opposite the hotel, for evening meals there are restaurants nearby but you have to negotiate a dark walk along unlit grounds. For us there was no catering at all beyond a couple of vending machines. The hotel has a tunnel that connects the rooms to the main building with reception and "bar / restaurant" / lounge.

Going back and bringing the family next time! We visited the first week of October 2024- the views across the lake were amazing with the foliage and we could not believe how clear the water was at the little beach - nice jetty to walk out on and watch the boats. Very nice location - we were greeted by very friendly staff who were able to move us from across the street at the inn to the main building on the beach. The rooms were nice with plenty of room but they do have small bathrooms - not an issue for us, only noting. We used the indoor pool & it was clean and our grandson had a great time. When checking out, I mentioned that the beds really needed to be replaced and was told that was on the list for this winter during off season - even with the beds not being changed out this winter, I told her, we intended on coming back next summer with the family! We loved the location and how nice staff were - only reason I did not post a 5 star was the beds - which they are replacing in off season. (Side note; Shaws is across the street in case anything is needed.) Would highly recommend -

Amazing lakeside views Lovely room overlooking lake. Absolutely beautiful view. Very large and comfortable bed. Helpfully a fridge inc as when we went no meals were available/ provided. Huge shower but water wasn't that hot. Also no towel rack or space to put washbag etc. Viewing options were strangely limited . Minor issues as only there one night but would have loved to had stayed l9nger. Polite and friendly staff

Run away fast - don't even stop to look!! The only thing good I can say about the place, is that it is water front. We chose a newly renovated room. I would hate to see what an unrenovated room is like. They could not have gone any cheaper for renovating! The refrigerators have no freezer. We could hear the ice maker from the floor below us. This place host weddings, so 1030-12ish is extremely loud with people in the halls and tired screaming children. The doors have not only been poorly painted, but they are hollow with space underneath in them. Thus you can hear every single , slamming and creaking door. When I say everything.....I mean everything.....every single word....etc! The floors were dirty, but they leave a broom in the closet for the patrons to sweep the floors. How very considerate of them!! The bathroom has zero counter space. They don't even have enough room for a towel bar. Towels clean or used have to be hung over the shower. The 1/2 ply toilet paper is useless and the base of the toilet paper holder had hair all over it.. The air conditioners in the room are extremely loud, so we could not use them at thight, which left the room very stuffy. For the price of these rooms, I'd never ever stay here again. If you have to stay here, stay Sunday-Thursday, as there's no one here.
