Not made aware of renovations taking place closing down the lounge and restaurant. The lobby, lounge and restaurant closed due to renovations upon checking inn and not made aware of at time of reservation. Not our first stay here and two areas which made our past stays enjoyable. One elevator which made for long waits because of barricades. This will give us the opportunity to look into other accommodations on our next visit in the next couple months. In our travels the past 51 years it has always been a custom for Motels to make you aware of renovation projects underway. This was or favorite when here on business trips.

Waterfront Inn Very dated hotel.. lobby closed, under renovation… Location is great though as well as shower pressure, mold noted in shower on the grout lines.In very close proximity to all that is happening at Sumpter Landing - walking and golf cart friendly.

Stately, But Under Renovations Never had a shower with as much pressure as the shower here. The experience could have been better but it is under renovation. Still all in all it is stately hotel with comfortable rooms and within walking distance to the Villages. Would stay here again.

Excellent service We had the best time. Awesome staff. We will book again next year. Couldn't ask for better service. Everyone was so friendly and we felt like family.

Under renovation Front was closed due to renovation. Wife and I are over 70 and handicapped. Had to get a luggage rack, go to car in parking lot and wheel it around to side entrance. Mattress was old and saggy, we both almost rolled out of bed. Shower was lukewarm. Breakfast buffet at $15 pp was way overpriced, went into town and had great breakfast at 2 different places for under $25. Very displeased we were charged full price for being inconvenienced. Most amenities were closed
