Very good I visited here once, chose the best room but it was below average. I especially want to thank the girl at the reception Maria, a real professional, very responsive, polite, always ready to help basically everything is fine, quiet cozy hotel, and a beautiful city

THERE IS A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE YOU ARE NOT INFORMED OF UNTIL CHECK IN! THERE IS A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE YOU ARE NOT INFORMED OF UNTIL CHECK IN! Nice property. Well appointed rooms with a mini fridge, TV that accepts streaming devices like the Roku Stick, wall thermostat, plenty of storage and counter top space, and I loved the couch (room option). Biut I really took acceptation to the $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE! The only notice of this in the property description is the entry "parking available," which I guess means it's not included. Maybe other hotels are now doing this, but in. my experience I've never had to pay for parking at any hotel in Orange County before. This raises the price over 10% so I'll assume this is the case at all Sonesta hotels and factor it in accordingly. Criticisms: Although appearing clean the shower curtain fabric smelled musty and the towels are kind of thin. The front counter kiosks are ridiculous - do they really need to be surrounded by plexiglass without enough sound holes to hear the clerk? Rather impersonal and off-putting, makes you think "Maybe this area isn't as safe as I thought?" although having lived nearby for decades I know it's very safe. Also THERE IS A $10 PER NIGHT PARKING FEE YOU ARE NOT INFORMED OF UNTIL CHECK IN!

My stay at this hotel was a 5 star experience. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for many reasons. It has a very calm and cozy atmosphere that is perfect for family or business. I would like to give a special thanks to Nehal Taha and Sara William for making me feel welcomed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I walked into the lobby and they remembered my name. They had know problem allowing me to check in little early and for that I was extremely thankful. They had everything I would expect from an upscale hotel. They have a lot of hotel options in the area and this will be the only I will stay at.I feel very safe at this hotel because only guest comes in and out. Another great advantage to this hotel it’s dog friendly. I am very thankful for the warm welcome I received and will most definitely return. I am happy to go home however I will miss this place. Thanks again

Run down facility. Good staff poor management. Worst hotel experience ever. Avoid this place if you can. Staff were courteous & nice. Shower NOT WORKING and was offered free coffee (& parking?) for compensation. Stood in line for >10 minutes, witnessing a guest verbal fighting with staff (red alert #1?) Then witnessed an onsite repair person rushing around fixing things for some guests ( red alert #2?) Then late into the eve discovered that the shower had a drainage blocking and after back N forth with front desk, was told "sorry, nothing we coud do, just stay with NO SHOWER..." (the bath tub was filled with drain water from upstairs and eventually flooded the bathroom... yikes)

Overcharge every chance they can, dirty, rude - 3 strikes! I’ve been twice and booked for a third visit then canceled, had enough, three strikes! First visit I was going to be 90 minutes early and they wouldn’t let me check in without charging me. Not because they didn’t have room, but bc “it’s policy.” Second visit there were flying bugs that kept showing up in the room, don’t know from where??? The front desk waived the parking fee so I decided to give them a third chance. Booked for Christmas week during their Black Friday sale. Booked for 5 days but had to reduce to 3 days - not a different 3 days but within my original booking. They tried to rebook me at a new and higher price rather than just modify my original resy at the sale price. And the booking rep and the manager were both unhelpful, borderline rude. Didn’t even try to listen, just automatically told me I had to rebook and gave me a new price that was 20% higher! Overcharge every chance they can, dirty, rude - 3 strikes!
