Typical chain hotel Stayed for 3 days on a business trip and it is a typical chain hotel. We chose this hotel for the courtyard rooms and outdoor amenities. The outdoor seating was very comfortable, clean and relaxing by the fire pit. Our courtyard room was unfortunately on the end right by the parking lot so we didn’t sit there very often. The pool was really nice but the hot tub was lukewarm with very dirty floating stuff each day. We let the front desk know but the response was just that maintenance was gone for the day. A major amenity should take priority. The breakfast is excellent with fresh to order omelettes and we enjoyed the 5-7pm snack+happy hour.

Great experience, EXCEPT FOR THIS... Plan on writing more extensive review later but wanted to let you know about one thing. Overall we LOVED everything about this place: quiet get-away, great breakfast, nice room, internet worked fine, etc BUT one really weird thing. I think I read this in one other review but wanted you to be forwarned. After a great night there. Shower was nice and hot with good water pressure, etc BUT the next morning around 10:30am I noticed the water pressure was almost non-existent in the room. The bathroom sink water just drizzled out; turning the shower water on full blast almost NO water came out; even the toilet would not even flush because no water pressure to refill toilet bowl. I went to the front desk and the polite lady denied that this was a known problem. I checked the public men's restroom next to the lobby and found one of the sinks the same way, just a tiny drizzle out of the sink. Not sure what this means. If it only happens late mornings, then not a problem for us (we do our showers, etc at night). We will definitely try staying here again but if this ever happened at night when trying to take an end-of-day shower that would probably be a deal breaker for us. I hope not because we love this place so far after our 1st visit.

Avoid if possible. Don't give deposit back Don't recommend this hotel. Avoid if possible cause they don't give the deposit back. Already passed 17 days after our tri and still did not get my $100 DEPOSIT back. Messaged them many times, they just ignore it.

Great breakfast! The hotel itself is really nice, we got a big room and of course breakfast was included. The only issue I had was the cost. I mean, I think they work with a correctional facility and those guys do give great service, well sometimes… they are kinda pushy but I guess they are learning. Anywho… Partner and I planned to stay here because it was our friends bday party and we didn’t want to drive home. A week prior I called and was quoted $375, I thought this guy was joking with me, even with a discount for those who live in Laguna Woods, that was the price? I hung up and called again, same story but this guy was nice and said we have other sister properties that maybe a bit cheaper, I declined the offer then went online and searched on Hotels.com or Expedia - $250. I asked our friends how much they paid $150, isn’t that wild? The customer service was great, the bed comfortable, didn’t need the a/c because the weather was perfect (just open the window), spacious and the breakfast was delish! Moral of the story – Plan ahead, get your room early as possible. LOL

I really love this hotel I really loved this hotel. It’s one of my favourites. I loved the decor, the room, the pool and I absolutely love the outside fire on an evening. You need a car and other than breakfast there is no food or drink on site. The restaurant choices very near are really limited but you can reach many restaurants in a short car journey.
