Fantastic First Stay on Maui! Excellent resort in an excellent location. This was our first time in Maui and we decided to stay in the Kaanapali area at the Honua Kai. We rented through a resort rental company and were impressed with how easy the check in process was. Be sure to grab groceries on the way to the resort (in Kahului). The condo we had was amazing, 2 beds and two baths for three adults and two children. There are numerous elevators in the building, so you will always be near one, with direct access to the underground parking garage. The resort has multiple pools and none were never really crowded, but things started to pick up the weekend before the 4th of July. Having Dukes’s on the resort was a bonus, being able to place orders poolside. The beach at the resort is pristine with reefs for snorkeling. There are food trucks and a grocery store with in walking distance. The onsite store is a bit pricey. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful. Amazing. Clean. Comfortable. Loved everything about our vacation, and the unit/accommodations were perfect in every way! Our contact for the unit was always available any time we reached out with questions. The view of the mountains allowed us to see several rainbows. Kids loved the pool area, Dukes was great when we did not feel like cooking in the unit, and the snorkeling right off the beach was absolutely amazing!!

Amazing experience can’t wait to go back! The rooms are spacious, jump to date and clean. We loved the open wall lanai, it opened up the room even more and made it very inclusive. The landscaped grounds were gorgeous! The staff was excellent, accommodating and we loved every moment.

Great place to call a home away from home The condo we stayed in (919) was great in terms of amenities and sleeping arrangements. We were close to the lobby, pool and beach. We did have to request a frying pan. I do wish there were more restaurants on site - Duke’s was delicious but a quick self-serve place would be nice. The cat sanctuary was lovely! The beach was so nice! The pools were well used - but the water was cloudy and better filtering/testing would have made this a 5 star rating. Despite the signage, people notoriously reserved lounge chairs. We were there one day for 3 hours next to a chair with a towel and the person never showed.

A Tropical Dream Vacation My husband and I, two girls and elderly parents had an amazing vacation at HK resort! We stayed in 325 (a 3 bedroom unit) and Fereshteh Tali was absolutely fabulous. She was so helpful and she made us feel right at home. The condo was beautiful and perfectly roomy- which came with all the amenities needed for a day at the beach, or an afternoon lounging at the resort pools. We loved our stay and highly recommend her units to other families.
